Today we woke up around 7, chilling with some breakfast until a car picked us up, to go to the firing range.
It was a 40 min drive. The instructor gave us a short introduction on the safety of the weapons.
My brother Johan started off first with the Shotgun, and then it was my turn. After that we went to the other weapons. Going from Pistols (Glock and a .357 Magnum), to submachine guns (UZI and Scorpion EVO) to Assault Rifles (AR-15 and AK47).
To me, the recoil on both the Glock and EVO was greater than expected. Johan started first again going through said weapons, and then it was my turn again. After everything was shot up, we had an option to add other weapons to try out, to additional cost. I chose to fire 1 bullet of a Desert Eagle 50AE and 5 bullets from a Mosin Nagant, while my brother chose not doing it.
After that we went to another part of the range and tested out and SVD. the recoil from that was huge, but did get a decent score from that, hit 4 of 5 bullets.
It was a great morning! The only gripe I have is that the AR-15 was in 9mm instead of 5.56.
Afterwards we chilled at the hotel before heading to a nearby restaurant to grab something to eat. Johan wanted to have a Trdelnik (chimney cake) so we headed to Charles bridge to get one. On the way there we looked for John Lennon Wall (a wall of paintings dedicated to John Lennon).
After we got our Trdelnik we headed back to the hotel.
When we came back, I decided to take a shower and dropped my phone on the floor, and cracked the glass, which was so bad that the buttons doesn´t work anymore, Which sucks!
Otherwise it has been a great day!
