I´m home!

Hello! I´m home in Sweden now!
The day started about 6 am, which was in a way planned, since I wanted to chill until breakfast, which opened about 7.45am.
After breakfast, I packed the last of my stuff and waited for the gastrointestinal reflex. At 9am I checked out of the hotel and took the underground to Heathrow Airport!

The underground took about an hour, and I checked in my bag, and went through security. I looked around the stores, and bought some gifts. The flight went smooth. I had some hours to kill in Arlanda, so I exchanged the leftover currency and went through security. I had some dinner at Max Burgers. Which was delicious!

The flight to Umeå was a little late, since we had to wait for a couple of people who arrived late from another flight. The flight went smooth after that, and My father waited for me at the gate. It has snowed here in Umeå while I was away!
Now I will see when I travel again. If I know me, I can´t contain myself, and will probably book another trip within a month or so!

Hello! I must admit was a fully packed last day!
The day started walking up around 7am, chilling for a bit until breakfast and the gastrointestinal reflex to kick in. So around 10am I headed to Knightsbridge, to go and see Harrods, I decided to go in and have a look. I looked at some items, and I didn´t dare to ask what the price was. But I did end up buying a present for my mom!

From there I decided to head to Hyde Park, since it was in walking distance! From there I headed to Buckingham palace via Green Park and headed to Westminster via St James Park. After that I took the tube to Notting Hill and went to Portobello Market. I managed to buy some more presents to the family and a few things for myself! After that I went back to the hotel and took a nap.

After that I went and had some dinner, at a favourite spot of mine, Ed´s Diner at Euston! So after that I have to pack for tomorrow, since I´m heading back to Umeå!

What do I think of the Hotel and City?
I do like the hotel, Hotel Meridiana. It´s my fourth time there. But it had made some changes since the last time I was there. They removed the full english breakfast and switched to continental breakfast buffé for a price.

As for the City, I love it, I totally love it! Being in Hyde Park, Shopping at Camden Market and Portobello. It´s my eleventh time here, and I would definitely come back!

A tired day!

After that I headed to Primrose hill, which is a beautiful sight in nice weather, which it was today! I later on went to Abbey road, to see the part of the road which is on the cover of the famous Beatles album!
Since I was tired already, I went back to the hotel and took another nap. After that I upload the rest of the footage from the concert last night and went for dinner. Tonight I´m gonna chill, not planning on doing anything!

Starsailor in Concert!

Hello!
I´m writing this today because I came home late in the evening.
Yesterday started with waking up early, I didn´t plan on it, since I always have to pee in the morning. I had some breakfast and chilled for a bit and went to Emirates stadium, trying to get some football tickets, which I didn´t manage to do, since the tickets were sold out and those who were available were only sold to club members!

From there I went to Covent Garden, having a look around China town, Leicester square and Piccadilly Circus. Last time I was at Piccadilly, they was repairing it, which is now finished.
From there I went to Camden Market an bought some scented candles! Which took a while to find! After that I went back to the hotel, leaved my stuff, took a shower and headed to Barbican to have lunch with some friends! One I haven´t met in over 4 years! So obviously we had some catching up to do, after that he had to go back to work, and I went back to the hotel for a nap, before the concert!

After the nap I chilled for a bit and went to KOKO, a club in Mornington Crescent. I was almost 2 hours early, and no one was lining up for the concert yet, So I stayed there, and after a while people were queuing up. I chatted with some awesome people, who had seen them before.
Eventually the door opened and I managed to get up front!
The 2 opening acts were nice, Alex Francis and Paradisio. Then Starsailor came on! Holy moly! The Concert was amazing! The band had such an energy and made some jokes with the crowd!

After the concert, the people I talked to earlier before the concert, wanted me to stay, and they managed to get me in to the afterparty! Which was amazing! if you read this, Thank you!
I met most of the band, managed to get a picture with the singer, James Walsh! Later on it became late, and they also have to work in the morning, so we parted ways! I had such a great time! I will see what i´ll do today! Below I will link a video from the Concert!

Arriving in London!

Hello!
I have arrived in London! The day started early and packed some of the stuff needed for the trip, since I already packed some clothes the day before! I chilled for a bit until the taxi came and picked me up to the airport!

I checked in the bags and the flight to Stockholm went well, I had over an hour to get to the other flight to London, and having nothing better to do, I went through security and went to the gate. I had a look around the tax free, and didn´t buy anything, I´m doing that on the way home!
The flight went well, and I got the bags quite early, and went to the underground, and it took an hour from Heathrow airport to Kings cross!

After checking in to the hotel, a hotel I have stayed in four times before (Hotel Meridiana), the owner immediately says that he recognises me, I don´t if he meant it or if he flattered me!
After that I went to Embankment, seeing London Eye and Big Ben. I got a message from a friend of mine, saying that he is at a pub close to my hotel, which I immediately went to, so we watched up quite a bit, and had some dinner. After that I got back to the hotel, tired after a long day!

Tomorrow is the day!

Hello!
After working quite a bit, it´s finally time to leave for London tomorrow! Will be there until Sunday!
I am actually longing for the concert on Thursday as well, the first time I will see Starsailor live and the third concert this year alone!

Do I have any more plans? Yes! I do plan to see a football game, and I was mistaken which teams that are playing, I thought it was going to be Tottenham - Liverpool, but I was mistaken, as they have already played! I do plan to see Arsenal against Swansea! Other than that, I am gonna enjoy the city all over again!

So I need to pack for tomorrow, and throw out some trash tomorrow! I bought some currency last Monday, so I have that covered!
While i´m in London, I always stay in Kings Cross. During the years, I have stayed in different hotels, and this I will be staying at place I haven´t been to in a couple of years now, called Hotel Meridiana!

London is getting closer!

Hello!
My trip to London is getting closer! it´s only 6 days to go!
I applied for a few vacation days a couple of weeks ago, but some of them was´t approved, so I had to switch with a friend, so I will be working 6 days straight, ending on sunday!

I´m longing for the Starsailor concert, it will be the first time I see them live, and this would be my third concert this year alone! It´s going to be awesome!
Things i´m planning to do, is to see a football game, I see that Tottenham vs Liverpool is next saturday! Hopefully I will get tickets to the game!
I bought some currency for the trip, which I always do, because it is a comfort to have some cash on hand!

I always look for the next trip, even though I have a trip close at hand. a dream that I have is to do a trip around the world, going out for more than a year! As you can imagine, it is very expensive. The trip I have looked into cost over 70.000 swedish kronors, and that´s just for the flights. So it will take a few years for me to save up the money for that kind of trip!

Going back to school!

Hello Everybody!
I have applied for University again. I have applied for a Anaestethics programme in my home town. which I did last year and earlier this year.
I feel it´s time to go back and study, to do my masters in Anaestethics. Hopefully I will get in this time!

Other than that, I am longing for my trip to London in late October, which is going to be awesome. I have the concert to look forward to, and hopefully I will get tickets to a football (soccer) game, Tottenham vs Liverpool. Since I´m a Liverpool FC fan, I got to take the opportunity to see a game!

After that trip I don´t think I have the time or money to do another trip for the rest of the year. I gotta save some money for the eventual study and plan ahead to another trip next year. But that´s only if I get in!
