Last day in Krakow, and last day on the trip!

Hello Everybody! This is the last day in Krakow and Last day of the trip!
The day started quite chill, chilling during the morning, and then decided to head to the Jewish cemetery, just outside the hotel, which was interesting, but it was overgrown, and wasn't well kept. So we moved on to the botanical garden, which was nice!

We walked around the botanical garden for a bit, until going to the old town again, and had something to eat! Then we headed back to the hotel, and chilled for a bit. Then we headed out and had some dinner. Then we went back and started packing a little bit!

4 weeks has gone by so fast! As I wrote yesterday, it has been some interesting weeks, Download Festival for the 4th time, going back to Rome, and going to Pompeii, and going back to Paris, and going to Mont Sant Michel and Versailles (even though we just saw the garden), and being back in Krakow, the second time in a year, and going to Auschwitz again, also the second time in a year.
So I have been knocking off 3 items from my Bucket list! That should count for something!

Another cloudy day in Krakow!

Hello everybody! It has been another cloudy day in Krakow!
It became an early morning, but chilled for a bit, and taking a morning nap until we started heading out, going south of the city!
We first headed to the Schindler museum, where Oscar Schindler had his factory and was used to save a lot of jews! The Museum was quite interesting!

Then we headed further south, going to a couple of cemeteries, and found another Mound, with had a great view over the city! It was not as big as the one yesterday, but still big. It was windy as hell though!
After that we decided to head back, via the old town. We chilled for a bit, until we headed back to the old town, having some dinner!

Cloudy day in Krakow!

Hello everybody! It has been a cloudy day today, and it started with full on rain during the morning. So obviously we waited it out and chilled during the morning.
Then when it stopped raining, we decided to head out. We headed to the Krakow Eye (the Krakow version of the London Eye, but smaller) and also saw a huge weather balloon!

Then we walked we walked along the river and went to st Josephs church! then we crossed the river, and walked to the old town, and walked all the way to Kosciuszki Mound, which was a long walk! We passed cemeteries and parks along the way!
We payed an entrance fee and walked up the mound, which had a great view over the city! After that we decided to walk back to the hotel!

A trip to Auschwitz!

Hello everybody! We have taken a trip to Auschwitz, second time for me (within a year as well) and the first time for my brother Johan!
The day started early, as I set the alarm for 6am, so I could chill for a bit, and have some breakfast. We then headed to the train station at 8am. It took approximately 30 min to go to the train station!

We took the train to Oswiecim, the city where the camps are, and started walking. We apparently walked too far, and had to go around, but we eventually got there.
We took a tour at 11.30 and chilled for a bit, until it started. Then we saw a movie, one I have seen before! then we started the tour around Auschwitz and it is interesting, seeing the buildings and what got left behind!

Then we took a bus to Birkenau, where the (in)famous gate is, and had a look around, hearing about everything in the area! There the tour ended, and we headed back to Auschwitz, and then decided to head back to Krakow!
We managed to catch a train at 15.23. Which only took an hour, otherwise we had to use a train that took twice as long!

We arrived back in Krakow, and went immediately for dinner, and had some Pizza. Then we back to the hotel, and chilled ever since!
We will see what we will do tomorrow!

Arriving in Krakow and first full day!

Hello Everybody! Sorry for not writing yesterday, but we were so tired after a full day of traveling!
Yesterday started very early, as we woke up and packed the rest of our stuff, as the taxi came and picked us up at 7am, earlier than expected, but the traffic was horrible, so it took us a while to get there!

After a bathroom break at the airport, We checked in the bags, and went through security, and chilled for a bit, until the flight lifts, and we had some sleep! We landed in Warsaw, and chilled for a bit, having some fun! Then after a couple of hours, we got on the flight to Krakow! We landed on time, got our bags quite early, and got the taxi to the hotel, a hotel I have stayed in before!

We chilled for a bit, and then went out for dinner, had a pizza at a place close by! Then we chilled for the rest of the night, being tired from the trip!
As for today, We chilled during the morning, and then went to the old town! Had a look around, and walked outside the gates of the old town, and walked around the old town in a park. We then arrived at the castle, having a look around!

Then we walked down to the river and walked along the river and then walked up to the Henryk Jordan park, which had a lot of statues. Then we decided to walk back to the hotel, and chill for a bit, Johan took a nap.
Then we headed out to eat, at a new burger place, which was ok! then we headed back and chilled ever since!
We are planning on going to Auschwitz tomorrow, it will be the second time for me, and first time for my brother!

Last day in Paris!

Hello Everybody! It has been the last day in Paris! It was amazing!
We chilled during the morning since we got home late yesterday, and at about 11, we left for the Louvre with the aim to go inside!

So we took a long walk to the Louvre, and bought tickets to go inside, which was 17 euros, which wasn't bad. We headed inside and had a look around. then we found the Mona Lisa. which was very small. it was the second time we both saw the painting!
then we decided to have a snack, and then walk back to the hotel!

We walked along the river and walked past the Musee d Orsay and then cut through a park near the Eiffel Tower. Then we got back to the hotel, and chilled for a bit before going out and having dinner! It has been a great couple days!

The biggest surprise was both Versailles and Mont Sant Michel, which was on my bucket list!
Next up Krakow Poland!

Trip to Mont Sant Michel!

Hello everybody! We have gotten back from a trip to Mont Sant Michel!
They day started very early, and it was intended this time, as we needed to go to the train station (Paris-Montparnasse) early for the train to Mont Sant Michel! Woke up around 5am, and chilled for abit, until packing a backpack and walked to the train station!

The walk took around 45min, we bought the tickets and got on the train. The train ride was about 4hours, so we could catch up on some sleep! We arrived at Pontporson, and took a bus to Mont Sant Michel! the view after getting off the bus was amazing! it was a low tide, so there's was a lot of sand around it. We walked in and started looking around!

We walked up a lot of stairs, and went to the Abbey, which was awesome! then we walked around some more, and had something to eat, and looked around some more! then we had an early dinner and chilled for a bit. Then we started to head back, and took the 17.34 bus to Pontporson and the 18.14 train back to Montparnasse! the train ride took around the same time back, and we walked back to the hotel! so now its time to get to sleep!

A long park walk!

Hello everybody! It has been a warm day today!
The day started early as always with some bad sleep! Since it's very hot here in France! So we chilled in bed for a while, until we decided to head out. We walked to the river and saw a small version of the Statue of Liberty.

After that, we walked down to the Andre Citroen park, which was nice. Then we took a long walk to the Luxembourg Garden (or Jardin du Luxembourg). It is a really nice garden, so we chilled there for a while and then decided to head back to the hotel! We had a snack break during the walk as well!

When we got back we chilled for a bit, and heard that there were an explosion near the Jardin du Luxembourg, which in a way is crazy. Bu we are safe, and we weren't near the explosion at all!
We then went and grabbed some dinner, and some supplies for tomorrow, as we are heading to Mont Sant Michel tomorrow, which is going to be an early morning to grab the only train.

A trip to Versailles!

Hello Everybody! Today has been a good day, as we took a trip to Versailles!
The day started early as well, as it's hot and having trouble to sleep properly! But we chilled for a bit until going to the train station which was close! We bought the tickets and took a 30min train ride to Versailles!

After arriving, we walked to the palace. We looked for where to buy tickets, and we had to wait until 5pm to get into the palace (and we arrived at 10am), so we didn't want to wait, so we headed to the gardens instead, which was interesting and much bigger than expected! It was huge! So we walked around quite a bit!

After a while we decided to have lunch, and walked around some more. Then we decided to head back, and we walked out from the palace and walked back to the train station and of course took the train back. We went back to the hotel, and chilled for a bit, until going out for dinner. After dinner, we went and bought som water and has chilled ever since!
We will see what we will do tomorrow!

First full day in Paris!

Hello Everybody! It has been the first full day here in Paris! It has been packed with different things!
It started quite early with chilling for a bit, and then going for breakfast, which wasn't any spectacular. After chilling for a bit, we decided to go out at 9.30, since we had the Eiffel Tower close by, we went there!

We decided to go up to the top, so we stood in line, but while we stood in line, the top got closed, so we only went to the second floor. After we got down the top opened up again, which was weird. We stood over an hour to get to the second floor, but it was a nice view!

After the Eiffel Tower, we went to Trocadero, since it was close by. After that we walked to the Arc de Triumphe, and from there we walked along the Champ Elysse to the Louvre, which had a huge line, so we didn't go inside! So we walked to Notre Dame, and then decided to head back! We walked past the hotel de invalides, and the Eiffel Tower again. it started raining a little when we walked back!

We got back to the hotel, and chilled for a bit, and then headed out again for dinner. Then we have chilled ever since! We plan to go Versaille tomorrow!

Arriving in Paris!

Hello Everybody! We have arrived in Paris!
The day started with some bad sleep, going in and out of sleep, but gave up at around 6am, since we had booked a taxi at 8am. we packed our bags and checked out at 745, the taxi were 15min late, but we were early to the airport since I don't want to stress. We had some breakfast at the airport!

We took our flight to Milano, since we had a layover there. The flight was uneventful, and I bought some more to eat. We chilled for a bit until taking another flight to Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport. The flight was also uneventful and we got our bags rather quickly. we had another taxi waiting for us!

The ride to the hotel took quite a while, since there was a lot of traffic, but we eventually got there, we checked in and payed for the hotel, and has chilled ever since. The room is much smaller than the hotel in Rome. but we might just use the room for sleeping anyway!

Last day in Rome!

Hello everybody! It has been the last day in Rome! We woke up quite early and had some breakfast! Then we chilled some more until going out!
We started walking along the river and I noticed we were close to the botanical garden, so we walked inside and walked around!

It did has a lot of different things, a bamboo forest, waterfalls amongst other things! After a while we decided to head back to the hotel, since it was getting hot! We got back and settled the bill for the hotel, and then chilled for a bit! I also fixed a ride to the airport tomorrow!
Then we headed out and got some dinner, and also some Ice cream! We went back and has chilled ever since!

What did we think about the time in Rome and Italy? It was my second time in Rome, and I do love it! It was the first time we both was in Pompeii, which was interesting! I would probably come back here some day! We will see what happens!
The Hotel, Atlante Garden, is nice, sadly you need to pay extra for breakfast, but it was worth it!

Day trip to Pompeii!

Hello everybody! We have taken a day trip to Pompeii!
The day started early! As we needed to take the subway down to the trainstation we left the hotel just before 8am, and took as said subway to the train.
We planned to taking one trains, which only had one ticket, and I found it out after being it, so we switched plans and bought tickets for another train, and left Rome for Pompeii!

The train ride to Naples was quite quick, and we took a small bus ride to Pompeii. After arriving, we went inside, and the place was huge! We walked around quite a lot during the sunny day, and it was awesome! We saw how they lived, listening in a little from the various guides in the area. There was also two arenas/stadiums in the area too!

After seeing most of it, we decided to head back. It took a while to get back to the train station, but we eventually arrived, and took the 15.20 train from Naples and arrived back in Rome at 18.10. we then had some food, and got back to the hotel, we have chilled ever since, and tomorrow will be the last day in Rome!

2nd day in Rome!

Hello Everybody! It has been the second day in Rome and it has been mostly sunny!
We started off with breakfast, and chilling for a bit until heading out!
We walked past Castel Santangelo to Piazza Navona and then from there to the Pantheon!

We then walked to the monument of Victor Emmanuele the second, and here we got harassed by some street vendors trying to sell us stuff, but we kept them at bay. From there we went to the Roman Forum, and then the Coloseum!
Then we walked down to Circus Maximus and then started heading back, back up to Piazza Navona, and then back to the hotel, chilling for a bit!

Then we headed out to eat, at the same place we was yesterday, I tried the carbonara, and wasn't impressed. then we headed back, chilling along the Vatican for a bit!
We are planning on going to Pompeii tomorrow, taking the train quite early. but wee prob need to take the subway to the train station, which we will handle!

First full day in Rome!

Hello Everybody! It has been the first full day in Rome! The Weather has been crazy!
It started off with some breakfast, some REAL breakfast for once! Which was awesome, but it costs extra, so worth it though! After that I took another nap, and then we headed to the Vatican and checked it out, making it the third visited country of the trip (so far).

We then walked to Castel sant Angelo and had a look around! We talked about heading inside, but it costs too much! We then took a walk to the Spanish Steps, and walked up! I must say was a decent walk! We then walk to a park close by and had a look around! Then we headed to Piazza del Popolo.

We then decided to head back, to recharge my phone. The weather so far has been rainy, and started pouring on the way back to the hotel. When we got back we chilled for a bit, until deciding to go out and eat. We chose a restaurant close to the Vatican, and I had some bolognese while Johan had some Carbonara!
We then headed back and has chilled ever since!

We are planning for a longer walk tomorrow, to the Roman Forum and Colosseum amongst other places!
