I´m Home!

Hello! I´m home now, came back from London a coouple of hourse ago.
Last night was also the second concert of Steve Earle in a week. It was almost the same setlist as in Dublin, but the crowd were more active and on point, which made the concert more fun!
Today started early, since I had an relatively early flight, so I checked out at 7am. at took the tube to Heathrow. Check in had some trouble, i tried checking in the ordinary way, which didn´t work, but since I got a text from SAS yesterday about checking in early, I tried that, which worked. So I printed out the boarding card and checked in the bag.
As I went through the security, I had trouble taking off my belt, since it´s old, and I managed to break my belt. So I had to go and buy a new one.
After that I went to duty free and bought some stuff. After a while I saw that my flight was delayed for 45min. When the flight finally happened, it was fine. In Stockholm, I exchanged the left over currency to SEK, and went through security and had some Dinner.
After some food, I waited for my next flight which got delayed for 10min, but it was fine. My parents and brother waited for me at the airport and drove me home.
When I got home, I unpacked my stuff and went grocery shopping, and went next door with a delivery.
Tomorrow will be back to reality and back to work!

Cloudy, Lazy last day of the trip!

Hello! This is the last day of the trip. I woke up early after a bad night, so I went back to sleep, and woke up again at 8.30 at chilled on the computer for a bit.
I decided to go to Canary Wharf and have a look. It´s kinda looks like Docks.
I went to Abbey road and had a quick look. I went to Kings cross and had some late lunch and headed back to the hostel for a nap in preparation for the concert later on tonight, the final thing I do before leaving tomorrow!
What do I think of this part of the trip?
The trip have had its issues, since the first accommodation was canceled beforehand, so I had to look for something fast. Which led me to Prime Backpackers. It isn´t perfect at all, it has some ruptures and dirty spots on the carpets. But it was the best I could find for the price!
I´m also starting to feel that I have explored most of London already and I might be bored of being here, which might sound strange, coming from me, who has been in London a lot.
I guess it would be time to explore the rest of the world!

Market Run!

Hello! Today has been a market run.
The day started chill, wok up at 7.30 and chilled on the computer until 10.00, and then I headed down to Notting Hill and Portobello Market. I had a look around and found something for myself! There´s a Cuban Cigar shop, that I have started to visit everytime i´m in London, so I headed over there.
After Portobello, I headed to Covent Garden, and had a look. From there, I walked to Leicester square and Trafalgar Square, seeing China town along the way. I then went to Picadilly Circus and had a look. From there, I headed to Camden town and Camden Market, where I bought some scented candles for a friend.
I had a chat with the guy who owns the stand and remembered that we had a discussion about traveling 5 years ago. I had some late lunch/early dinner and then Iwent back to the hostel after that, and chilled for a bit. I decided to go to London Eye and try to go up, but it was sold out. I tried some gambling, but lost £20, but it´s ok.
Tomorrow is the last day i´m here and the second Steve Earle Concert, so I will see what I´m going to tomorrow!

Hello everybody!
Today has been a interesting one. I wok early and chilled on the computer until 9 am and went to the Tower of London, which I have prebooked a ticket to, and went inside. Which was interesting, seeing the history of it all. I also did see the Crown Jewels! From there, since I was in the neighbourhood, I crossed the Tower Bridge!
After crossing the bridge, I went to the Borough market and had something to eat. Later on, I went to St Pauls Cathedral and had a look.
I then took a trip to Harrods and had a look inside, and walked from there to Hyde park, and to Buckingham palace via St James Park. I headed then back to the hostel and took a nap. I then wanted to take an evening stroll to the London Eye. But the line was too long, so I headed back to the hostel.

Arriving in London!

Hello Everybody! I have now arrived in London!
The day started early and had some breakfast, and I chiilled on the computer for a bit. I then packed the rest of my stuff and checked out of the hotel.
I took the bus to the airport and arrived just before 11am, and the flight lifted at 12.55. So I checked the duty free and bought something.
The flight was a bit late, but landed on time, and it took forever to get the bag, so I took the tube about 15.30, meanwhile changing the rest of the euros I had to GBPs, and arrived at the hostel befor 17.00. I had booked a place in Angel.
It is hot here in London, so after checking in to the hostel, which has some repainting done, I went to Primrose Hill, and from there I walked to Euston via Camden town, and grabbed something to eat. I then went to kings cross and grabbed some supplies and then walked back to the hostel.
I then took a much needed shower, and have chilled by the computer.

Tired last day in Dublin!

Hello! Today has been a lazy one!
Since my last blogpost earlier today, I went to Dublin Docks via Merrion Square. From there I went to St Marys Cathedral. From there I walked back to the hostel and started uploading some footage for youtube!
So What do I think of Dublin and Ireland?
I did like the city, it´s a nice change of scenery, there´s a lot of parks, and I did like going to the docks.
The Hostel that i´m staying at, Abigails, is decent as well.
Its location is awesome, close to the river, and having a decent free breakfast. The price is cheap, so it´s worth staying here.
So tonight I need to tak a shower and start packing for the trip to London. The accommodation has been fixed now.

Guinness Brewery and Steve Earle

Hello! I´m writing this the day after, because I got home late and didn´t have the energy to write anything!
Yesterday started with waking up early, after a bad night, since people were coming in and disturbing my sleep, so I chilled on the computer, until I started walking to the Guinnes Brewery.
it took about 20min to walk over there. The tour was interesting, seeing what kind of stuff they were using and the history of it all. I got some stuff for some of the family as well. From there, I walked to the Botanical Garden, which was a long walk, maybe an hour walk. But the Botanical garden was interesting, for some reason I do like gardens.
After that I walked back from the Garden, which took about 45min, and I chilled on the computer, uploading the footage from the garden. Then I took a much needed nap. After that I had an awesome conversation with one of the roommates from the US. Then she went and grabbed something to eat.
I then took a shower and started walking to Vicar street.
I got there early, and the doors opened at 7pm, I talked to some Irish people while waiting for the concert, not realising that the opening act already started. The opening act was The Mastersons, a married couple doing country music. They were good.
After a bit, Steve Earle came one, right off the bat, he played a few of his new songs, which I haven´t heard before, but they were decent. The the older songs came on and the crowd got going. It was a good show! I must admit that I was tired, but I did enjoy the concert.

Arrived in Dublin!

Hello Everybody! I have arrived in Dublin! The trip started yesterday, with some dinner at my parents house, and they drove me to the airport! My mom is the sweetest woman ever!
The flight to Stockholm was a bit late, but went fine! I checked in at Rest and Fly, to get some sleep before the flight next morning!
I got a few hours of sleep before packing up and going through security! I had a look around duty free and didn´t find anything.
The flight went fine and landed close to 9am. I got my bag relatively early and took the bus to the centre of town. From the bus stop, I walked to the hostel, which went quick.
The check in was at 2pm, so I left the bags and had a look around town.
I headed to the Leprechaun museum, but since it was an entrance fee, I changed my mind, so I went and grabbed something to eat. it started raining a little bit. So I headed to Christ Church cathedral, and from there to Vicar Street, scouting it out for a concert tomorrow. After that I went and saw a little bit of Phoenix park.
After that I decided to head back and check in, and on the way I went and saw the oldest pub in Ireland, The Brazen Head, and went back to the hostel, and chilled for a bit. I then took a evening walk and headed to Molly Malone statue and St Stephens Square, and grabbed some donuts.

Hello everybody!
Today is the day of my trip. I might have talked earlier about some issues that i´m having, that I don´t have a place to stay in London!
it has been some issues with the hostel not being able to charge me for the accommodation ebcause of my bank sent me a new card without informing me. Which sucks. My dad tried to help, to no avail.
So while i´m in Dublin, i´m going to have a look and see what is available with affordablae range and see if I could get somewhere to stay during the time i´m being in London.
It does give me some unnecessary stress, but I have done this before, a long time ago, with some friends. So hopefully it will work itself out! It´s at least a learning experience!
So Today I need to pack, since I did the laundry yesterday evening, and I have to clean the apartment for a bit, throwing out some thrash.
I have everything else, some currency amongst other things!

It´s getting Closer!

It´s getting closer to my trip. it´s a week to go now! Which is going to be awesome!
I have booked some things now! I have booked a tour to the Guinness brewery, which I talked about in my last blogpost. I want to check it out, even though I don´t drink.
I have also booked a ticket to go on a tour in the Tower of London, which will be the first time I will be there, even though I have been i London a lot of times!
There´s some problems though. My accommodation in London has been canceled, since they couldn´t process my credit card. I called my bank and for some reason, they have automatically sent me a new card without notifying me, which is why the hostel couldn´t process my card.
Hopefully it will work out, or else I have to book another place.
But I won´t let that ruin the trip, it will work itself out in some way or another. There´s a new country to look forward to and new experiences and the most important thing, two concerts to look forward to! Both will be Steve Earle, which I mentioned in the last post!

3 weeks to go!

Hello everybody! It´s been a while since I have written anything!
It´s 3 weeks to go to the next trip! Until then it will be some intense work weeks. As long as I have something to look forward too, I will manage!
I have been recommended to go to the Guinness Brewery, It might be interesting, even though I don´t drink at all.
I would probably explore the city as much as I can. I will arrive on the 23rd in the morning, so I will have some time to explore, before checking in the hostel! Since it´s my first time in the country, I want to explore as much as I can!
It has also been a while since I have been to a new country, well it has been a year, but to me, that has been a long time!
As I said earlier, I have some intense work weeks ahead, will work two and a half weekends in a row before leaving for Stockholm on the 22nd and will leave for Dublin the next morning. After a couple of days I will leave for London (it will be my 13th time!) and will spend a couple of days there.
Why I go these countries, is because I will go two concerts, one in Dublin and one in London. Both concerts will be by the same artist, Steve Earle, a guy I did see perform when I was in NYC for the first time, back in 2013, when I was seeing David Letterman Live. So I have some hopes about the concerts and will off course update you on this site!
