Half way!

Hello everybody!
I have now spent 5 weeks in Karlshamn, and have been going back and forth to Karlskrona during the past 2 weeks! It has been interesting in the sense that I have been practicing on stuff that I haven't been able to here in Karlshamn!

At the same time I wanted to practice more on stuff, which for some reason I couldn't!
But at least I could practice on some stuff!
Since it´s the last 5 weeks, I will have some more pressure on me, and we will see if I could handle it! I will also have a meeting next week about my progress, and we will se how that goes!

Then I will have a huge practical exam at the end, and if I manage that, then we will see if I could finish this time and become a Nurse Anesthetist!
At the same time, I´m getting nervous about the upcoming trip as well! It will be the longest time outside of Sweden in a long time, and it will be a lot of countries!
We will see how the situation with Ukraine is going as well!

4th week in Karlshamn!

Hello everybody! I have now spent 4 weeks in Karlshamn! It has gone by so fast!
This week I have also spent in Karlskrona, at their hospital, practicing on different kinds of stuff that they don't do in Karlshamn! It has been interesting!

At the same time, it feels like I´m starting over in a sense, since it's new people, new routines and new stuff to think about, and it makes it hard to focus in a sense. But I need to practice.
I will be there next week as well, and continue to practice! After that I will have 5 weeks in Karlshamn, and if everything goes well, I will be a nurse anesthetist!

Then it will be a summer of traveling! It will be longest time since 2008, that I have been abroad! It will be intense and interesting with two festival in 2 weeks, and a lot of different countries! I will definitely knock off some of my items on my bucket list!

Travel announcement!

Hello! I have a huge travel announcement!
I will travel almost all summer! It will be almost all over Europe! With Places I haven't been to and some old ones! I will only be home for a couple of days after my trip in Karlshamn, and then head out again!

It is of course quite risky, with all that is happening in the world, and at the same time not being really finished with school yet!

The first stop would be London England, since It's been a while since I have been there, and it's been a while since I have been to the Download Festival! After that festival, I will head to Belgium for the Graspop Metal Meeting Festival, so it will be 2 festivals in 2 weeks! It's probably going to be rough but at the same time, very interesting!

After Graspop, I will be heading to Antwerp for a couple of days! Maybe even recoup after the festival. After Antwerp I will head to Prague, which it has been a while since I have been there!
Then I will head to Amsterdam for a couple of days! Exploring the city during the summertime, and maybe head out more in the country!

After Amsterdam I will be heading to Krakow, and will try and see Auschwits concentration camps!, and after that I will head to Bucharest, and it will be the longest stop, since I´m planning on going to both Peles and Bran Castle. If I have time even to Sighisoara.
After Bucharest, I will head down to Vienna, and catch the third Amy Macdonald Concert, which got canceled last month! and I will also probably head to Salzburg for the day!

After Vienna I will take the train to Budapest and check out the city, since I haven't been there before! After that I will head to Sofia, Bulgaria, since it has been a very long time since I have been there! It was like back in 2006, so I want to head back and check it out!
After that I will head to Istanbul for a couple of days, which is going to be interesting as well since I haven't been there at all!

After Istanbul I will head to Rome, as I want to go back, since it's been 5 years since I have been there last time!
Then I will finish off the trip in Paris, and hopefully getting to Mont Sant Michel, and maybe head back to Normandy, and see it again!
I will be the longest time I have been abroad since back in 2007, so its going to be very interesting, and the most expensive trip ever! But thankfully I have been saving up money for it!

A Beautiful Easter Day in Copenhagen Denmark!

Hello Everybody! I´m writing this the next day, since I was very tired after yesterday!
Yesterday started really, as I woke up around 4.30, naturally, and I chilled for a bit until just before 7am, as I went out and went to the train station and bought the ticket for Copenhagen!

The train ride went smooth as it only took like 2.5 hours from Karlshamn to Copenhagen. I arrived in Copenhagen at around 10 am. Which is early I know, but I wanted to have a lot of time as possible! I managed some sleep on the train as well.
Tivoli is just outside of the train station which is nice!

From the station I walked to Rosenborg Castle via Eastern park. After the castle I walked to the river, and saw The Opera across the river. From there I walked to the Little Mermaid via The Castell, which is shaped like a star.
From there I found a store that I wanted to check out in Street, so I went there and bought something for myself!

From there, I went to Christiansborg Castle, and walked around there a little bit. By Now I was getting tired, so I headed back to the train station.
While on the train, I heard that there's maintenance on the track home, so instead of going straight to Karlshamn, I had to switch trains at Copenhagen airport, take the bus to Malmö Hyllie, and take the train to Malmö Central, and from there to Karlshamn!
I came home around 7.30pm, so it has been a long day, but it was amazing going back there!

Last time I was in Copenhagen, was in 2006, with my friends, so it was a long time coming! We will see if I will manage to go back there while I´m here, or if I have to go there afterwards!

3rd week in Karlshamn!

Hello Everybody!
This has been the 3rd week in Karlshamn! Things have been way better than last week! It feels good! At the same time, there's some things that I need to improve on, but it is still better than last week!

The upcoming two weeks I will be in Karlskrona, so I can see other stuff and practice on other stuff that I can't here in Karlshamn! it will be like 45min by bus each way to Karlskrona and back! It is going to be interesting! Then it will be 5 weeks here in Karlshamn, and hopefully I will become a Nurse Anesthetist!
I will spend most of easter here in Karlshamn as well, since it's expensive to go home by train!

Tomorrow I will head to Copenhagen, since it's a 3 hour train ride from Karlshamn! it will be the fourth country this year alone that I will be traveling to. It's going to be interesting, since it has been a really long time since I have been there, since I have only been at the airport lately!
I will have a look around and see what's going on!

2nd week in Karlshamn!

Hello Everybody! I hav now spent two weeks here in Karlshamn!
The week has been interesting, and at the same time frustrating! It feels like I can't intubate, even though I try my hardest! The supervisor tries to help in every way she can.
At the same time, When I don´t succeed, it messes with my head, and then it doesn't get better!

At the same time, it might be good to have a little slump now, and having time to get over it when I have time, instead of having a slump late and not having time to fix it! I will still need to work at it and continue to improve!

I have also been exploring Karlshamn a little bit as well, walking around the city. It has been some bad weather though, as it has been snowing and raining every once in a while! I wasn't really expecting that as it has been great when I arrived here. A bit chilly but nice!
The sad part is that it is a very small town, and it feels like I have explored most of the city. But I have a few favorite places to go to!

I have another week here in Karlshamn and then I will be spending 2 weeks in Karlskrona, learning some things that I can't experience here in Karlshamn.
I will also see what I will do during Easter, since I will have a long weekend. I have thought about going to Copenhagen for a day, since it's only a 3 hour train ride. I have also thought about going home for easter, but it's over 12 hour train ride, one way!

It is also expensive to travel home, as it cost up to $200 one way by train, so I wonder if it will be worth it!
I will have to think about what I will do!

First week in Karlshamn!

Hello Everybody!
It has been my first week here in Karlshamn! It has been very interesting! I started off exploring the city, getting my bearings and remembering the layout of the city.
Then I have spent the first week at the hospital, practicing to become a nurse anesthetist!

I do feel that I have been out of the operating room for a while, since I feel that I´m a huge beginner. but slowly it's getting better. I do have 2 great supervisors. I still have time to improve, and I will keep work at it!
i will also spend two weeks in Karlskrona in a couple of weeks as well, which is going to be interesting!

I have some ideas as well, If I will head back home during easter, or if I would go to Copenhagen for a day during easter, just to have something to do. It would be nice to check off another country this year. It has been a long time since I have been to Denmark and Copenhagen.
