Hello Everybody!
I am home from London, well technically I came home yesterday (read: Sunday), and Wasn't able to write about it until now, because my computer broke in Rio, and had to buy a new one, so I could upload my videos!
So what have I been doing these past few days?
Well, on Friday, I went to Berkhamsted, to visit some friends, which was awesome, because  I was 2 years since I last seen them.
On Saturday I went to Portobello Market and had a look around, and then I went to White Hart Lane and see Tottenham - Manchester City, which Tottenham won with 4-1.
After the game I went to the hostel and took a nap, because I was starting to get sick. After the nap I started packing, because my flight was relatively early, at 09.50 on Sunday.
So on Sunday, I went up at 06.00 and checked out of the hostel, I did´t know that the underground didn't open until 06.45, so I had to wait until then, which didn't matter much, I got to the flight in time.
I flew back to Umeå, via Copenhagen and Arlanda.

What do I think of London?
Well I do love the town, there were some firsts for me, like visiting Hyde Park, Holland Park and Harrods.

The Accommodation:
I stayed at YHA hostel at Euston road, which was decent, I lived in a 4 bed dorm. I had the unfortunate to have roommates snoring, but it isn´t anything I can do. The location on it might throw people off, because it´s next to a busy road, which may wake people up.
You have to pay extra for breakfast, which threw me off a little bit.
It was decent enough.

The food:
I love asian food in Camden Town, and a burger joint very close to Euston station.

I will come back to London sooner or later!

Sorry for Not posting in a while!

Sorry for not posting in a while, I'm now in London England!

Last Friday I did absolutely nothing, trying to recover from the sunburn (which is fine now, the skin is starting to peel off).

On Saturday I walked around the beach a little bit, before heading to Rock in Rio (Yes I got a ticket). I did see a little bit of Royal Blood, A little bit of Motley Crue ( I did see the hits, and was resting for Metallica). At Midnight Metallica came on! The Second time in a month!
There were some changes, but it was almost the same setlist as in Gothenburg, but still worth it!

On Sunday I rested from the concert, because I came back at 5 in the morning.

What's my review of the whole trip?
Lets start with the accommodation:
Mango Tree is amazing for the price, have payed about 1800SEK for 7 nights. The location is just one block from Ipanema beach, and 10min to Copacabana beach. The staff is helpful.
The breakfast is amazing, watermelon, yoghurt, sandwiches, cake, coffee, tea.
Would totally recommend it!

Food:
Some people I hanged with, recommended a tapioka place, which was amazing! Another pair of people recommended a meat buffet (sorry vegetarians), which was so good!

The trip as a whole:
I did see some sights like Christ The Redeemer and Sugarloaf mountain, and sadly, did my first dip in the see this year.
I would totally go back!

On Monday I started to go to London, First I flew to Sao Paulo, and flew from there to New York, in which I landed in 6 in the morning. From there I had to grab the bag and check it in again, which went strangely smooth, I guess it was because of it being so early in the morning.
From New York, I went to London, and Landed about 20.00. I took the subway to Kings cross, which took an hour, and got to the hostel about 22.00.

Today on Tuesday, I went to White Hart Lane to buy a ticket to Tottenham - Man City game, and then I went to Tottenham Court road, to go to Primark and buy some clothes, Because I'm all out of t-shirts, Bought some onesies as well. (will upload pictures and videos when I get a new computer, because my laptop broke).
And then I went to Camden town to look around and take it all in. I went to Primrose Hill and looking around. Then I headed back and took a nap.

Hello! Sorry for not posting in a while! I have been busy traveling to another country, and been sightseeing a bit!

It started on Sunday, I woke up at 8.45 to pack my things and check out at 10am. I hung around the hostel to 12.30pm, in which I walked to the train station, to take the train to the airport.
The plane to Madrid lifted at 18.45, which went good. The flight to Sao Paulo was supposed to start at 23.15, but lifted at midnight.
I had to take my bag and check it in again. And I thought I was not going to make it, since the flight was late, but then I realized that Brazil is 5 hours behind from Spain.

Monday
Then I flew from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro. After I checked in to the hostel, I went around a lagoon, which was a 8km walk (5 miles), and I went to the botanical gardens.

Met some awesome people from the UK, and at night we went to eat some Tapioca! which was awesome!

On Tuesday I went to the Christ the Redeemer

Review of Belgium

Hello Everybody! Today I have walked around town for a bit, did see the Botanical Garden among other things.

In this post I will do a review of my time in Belgium. I am saying Belgium, because I hasn´t been just in Brussels, since I have been in Celles and Bastogne as well.

Accommodation:
In Brussels I´m staying in a hostel called Brxxl5 city centre, which for me is located a little bit south of the city, (Since it´s close to the south train station). But it´s within walking distance to the city centre and all the things worth seeing.
The Hostel itself is decent enough, lived in a 4 bed room, which was clean. relatively soundproof.
The hostel doesn´t have a kitchen, so people can´t buy their own food and cook for themselves. And because the lack of a kitchen, the hostel doesn´t serve breakfast.
The price for 6 nights are 168 Euros.

Do I recommend staying here? yeah I do, since it´s the only place I have stayed in here in Brussels.
Food:
I have tried some Belgian Waffles, I must tell you: They are amazing! Did try a waffles with Strawberries and Chocolate sauce, and another one with melted butter, Totally amazing!
I haven´t tried any real Belgian Chocolates, So I can´t give you an opinion about that!

I have noticed a lot of different beers around here (and since I don´t drink alcohol, I haven´t tried them) and if you love beer, you should come here!
Sights:
Here I will count everything I have seen while I have been here.
Brussels: Mannekin Piss, is a tiny little statue that they dress up every once in a while, is cool to see, just for the sake of it!
Grande Place is a market square with nice buildings around it.
Royal Park is a nice park to walk around in. I can also recommend Botanical Gardens.

Celles: Since I walked all around everywhere in and outside of Celles, I can recommend seeing Chateau de Veves, Celles itself, seeing Dinant and Aresemmes on the way to Celles.
And if you are going to Chateau de Noisy, sneak in from the back, because it´s has fences and locked gates. Be careful though because of a armed groundskeeper.

Bastogne: I can recommend seeing the 101st Airborne museum. And just have a walk around town. And if your feet are up to it, might go and check out Foy, where the foxholes from WW2 still are.

I can recommend coming here, not just for Brussels, but for the other towns as well!

A short visit in Bastogne

Yesterday I woke early, to head to Bastogne. I went to Bruxelles - Luxembourg station again, now I didn´t go the wrong way, as I did the last time.
I took the train to Libramont via Namur. and took the bus from Libramont to Bastogne.
As soon as I walk out from the bus, I noticed the 101st Airborne museum, which I went into. I saw a lot of WW2 memorabilia, like old WW2 weapons, MREs, uniforms and stuff.

After that I went up High Street, seeing some buildings, a ferris wheel, and some Chinooks flying over town.
I was planning on going up to Foy, a village where it is said to have the old foxholes, that the soldiers made during WW2.
But then my left starting cramping up, so I decided to go back after that.

In search of Chateau de Noisy

9/9/2015

Yesterday I started my journey to see Chateau de Noisy.
I woke up early to walk to Brussel- Luxembourg station, which is across town from where I´m staying.
I managed to go the wrong way, so it took me 40min longer to find the station. When I finally got there and bought the ticket, I had to wait about an hour for the next train, and when I jumped on the train, it turns out it was the wrong one.
The travel plan by train to the village is Brussels to Dinant, to Gendron-Celles. The train I went on didn´t go to Dinant. So I had to change trains to go back to Dinant, and then go to Gendron- Celles.

When I finally got to where i´m supposed to, I noticed a group of travellers, Which I thought that they maybe are going to the sam place as I am. Which turns out they didn´t. I wound up in a village called Forfooz, Which was further away from the village that I was really heading to.
So I walk from Forfooz, via Veves (in which I saw Chateau de Veves) to Celles, in which Chateau de Noisy is.
It took me a while to find the place, and as I was walking up towards the gates to the manor, I was greeted by some workers fixing security, saying that i´m not allowed to go in there.
As they saw me, I couldn´t really sneak in now. so, disheartened, I walked back to the station, I saw a sign saying Gendron, which at first I thought were the station ( which I remembered later was Gendron Gare) so I followed the sign, so I walked 2 miles before seeing another sign saying that the station are 2 miles on the way I came from. So even more disheartened, I walked back, towards the station. the sad part is that the station was only 300m from where I turned and walked the extra miles.
When I finally got the station, I had to wait about 40min for the train, which turned out the be 30 min late. and because if the lateness, I miss my connection train, so I had to take another train, to Namur, and change from there to Brussels.
In total I must have walked at least 30 miles, and my feet is killing me. I still have problems walking.
The upside of the whole day trip that I got a lot of exercise, and got to see the Belgian nature. Which was awesome!

Hello Everybody (Hi Dr. Nick!).

I have arrived in Brussels, have been looking around, eating some Belgian waffles, seeing some demonstrations and seeing some sights.
Like I said in my earlier post, I stayed in Stockholm the whole Sunday before arriving in Brussels today.

A thing that happened to me today, was when a fellow roommate and me were going to get some food, and someone tried to steal my phone from me. Fortunately I noticed and got it back!

I´m planning on heading to Celles tomorrow and see Chateau Miranda.
