Arriving in Nice, France!

Before I write about the day, Yesterday I went out a little bit more during the evening and saw a little bit more of Rome, Since it was my first time in Rome, and it was the last night there!
What did I think of Rome?
I think it was amazing, seeing the sights, seeing the Vatican and the sistine chapel, and Colosseum!
The hotel was good as well, just a few blocks from the vatican and walking distance to some of the sights. the only gripe I have is that it had some tidbits in the room, as for example the casing of the air conditioner button were gone, the bathtub had some cracks. The breakfast was amazing, even though I had to pay 12 euros everytime I had breakfast!
So today, I woke up at 5am, but tried to continue to sleep, but at 6am I could´t sleep, So I chilled on the computer until breakfast. After breakfast I payed for the room, and transport to the airport, and went to pack the rest of the things. The taxi drove at 10.15, even though I booked it at 10.30. When I got the airport I went to the check in counter (at Iberia), which told me I had to go to the Veiling check in.
When I went there and went through the line, I had to wait 20 min longer, because they didn´t open the check in for my flight. When I checked in my bags, I went through security, at about 12pm, and the flight went at 14.50, so I looked through the duty free store, and bought some booze.

The flight went smooth, and I took the taxi to the hostel, a hostel I have stayed at two times before. Hotel Meyerbeer beach, a couple blocks from the beach!
I got a bed in a 6-bed room, when I booked a 8-bed-room. which is fine, but I got the top bunk, I hate being in the top bunk!
After I checked in, I went out for a walk. When I landed it was cloudy, but when I got out, it was sunny. Windy, but sunny.  I took a walk on the promenade by the beach. After that I grabbed something to eat, and went up a hill, Getting an awesome view of the city! I went back after that, and have been chilling in the room since then.

Last day at the colosseum!

Hello everybody!
Today is the last full day in Rome, and tomorrow I will head to Nice, France!
I woke up early again, about 6am. So I chilled on the computer, you might wonder what I do on the computer? I check Facebook, 9gag, and play Tribal Wars.
I went to breakfast about 8am and waited for the gastrointestinal reflux, which kicked in. Afterwards I headed to the Colosseum, as I had a skip the line ticket there as well. When I got there the skip the line line were long as hell. I waited about 30-40minutes to get in. But when I got in, it was Amazing! (Check the linked video if you want to see it!)
After the Colosseum, I took my time heading back to the hotel, Seeing a few more sights in the city. Along the way I bought some souvenirs. When I got back, I have chilled in the hotel, uploading my footage of both the Colosseum, The city of Rome and Vatican!

What am I doing tonight?
I have no Idea, I might pack for tomorrow, as said I´m leaving for Nice. I might take a last swing at the town!

Hello Everybody!
Today I woke up early again, about 5am again. it was not intentional.
So I chilled on the computer again till 7am, trying to get some more sleep, but could´t do it, So I chilled some more on the computer until breakfast. After breakfast, i took a nap, so breakfast worked!

I left the hotel after 10pm, because I was supposed to meet up some people that are leading me to the Vatican museum, as I have prebooked a skip the line ticket. As I waited in the square, I felt some rain drops from time to time, as it was cloudy.
The people in charge came close to 11pm and there was a lot of people that were doing the same thing as me. As they checked that everyone was on board, we started to go to the museum, and as we went, it started pouring down! So we walked quickly over to the museum, and everyone got tickets to get in.

While inside the museum, I saw a lot of art, which was very interesting to see. The layout of the museum was that you have to walk through a lot of different areas before getting to the Sistine Chapel. I didn´t mind though, as there were, as said, a lot of cool stuff!

When I got to the Sistine Chapel, there were a lot of people there. But the place was big, with a lot of paintings along with the famous picture.
Because of the people, it took a while to get out.
When I finally got out, I headed back to the hotel, and while heading back, I saw the line of people trying to get in, and the line were LOOOONG!
When I got back, I chilled on the computer, uploading the footage I got from the museum, until about 6pm, when I got out to grab a pizza, which was ok! While I was out, I bought some cigars, just for the sake of it!
Tomorrow I will head back to the Colosseum, as I have bought a skip the line ticket there as well!
Tonight I´m gonna chill as usual!

Walking in a sunny day!

Hello!
Today has been an interesting day! It started with a bad night of sleep. Woke up at 5am, with problems getting back to sleep. So I chilled on the computer for a while, until I started to get hungry, so at 8.30 I went and had some breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and pastries. Yes it was delicious!
Knowing that the gastrointestinal reflux would kick in, I went back to the room for a while. So after the bathroom break, i took a nap, and went to explore Rome at around 11am.
First I went to Castel sant Angelo, which was obviously closest! Which was a sight. From there I walked to Piazza Navona. Since i was on a roll, I went from there to Sant Andrea della Valle, Piazza Venezia, Altare della Patria, Roman Forum, and Colosseum! I also saw Arco di Constantino, while I was at Colosseum.
Did I get into the Colosseum? No I didn´t but I do have a skip-the-line card, which I´m going to use on thursday.
After that I went back to the hotel, and chilled for a bit before getting some dinner.
So Tonight I´m gonna chill, and rest for tomorrow, which i´m gonna spend in the Vatican Museums!

Leaving Tokyo, Layover in Beijing, Arriving in Rome!

Hello! I have finally arrived in Rome!
The trip started on Sunday, I woke up early to pack the last things and eating breakfast. I checked out at 9am, and took a taxi to the train station, as it was raining.
I arrived at Narita airport at 11am. and my flight flew at 15.15. I want to be there early. I checked in my bag, went through security and looked through the duty free stores. Managed to buy a Tottoro doll and a tea package.
The flight was a little late on the take off, but it arrived in Beijing on time. Since the flight was leaving the next day (Monday), I had booked a hotel close to the Forbidden City. I went through Security, In China you could get 72 hours visa free. On the term that you never leave the city you´re landing in. I had to write an arrival card and after I wrote it and went through security, I realised I forgot my totter doll and tea!
I took a taxi to the hotel. The hotel was awesome. the only thing I though was wrong it that they overcharged me for the room, but I could afford it. But when I got to my room, I realised I lost my phone in the taxi. The Driver was nice to come back and give it back!
I went for a walk during the evening.

I woke up early to see the forbidden city, before heading back to the airport. I only saw the outside of it, but I can imagine that it might look cool on the inside!
I checked out at 8am and took a taxi to the airport. The flight was 50min late, but it arrived on time, 11 hours later!
I had a shuttle come and pick me up to the hotel in Rome. After I checked in, I went for a walk to the Vatican! Which was awesome!
Lets see what tomorrow has in store!

Last day in Tokyo!

This is my last day in Tokyo, as I will be leaving for Rome, and will be having a lay over in Beijing!
What did I do on this day?
I walked to Shibuya, and checked out that part of town. I was thinking about visiting Yoyogi park, but my legs didn´t have the energy to go there, since I walked a lot yesterday!
So I walked back, and bought some souvenirs to my family (and for myself), and chilled at Nogi Residence!
I went back to the hostel and uploaded the videos to youtube, and took a shower. Afterwards, I went to take one last sushi dinner. So later tonight I will have to pack the last things before tomorrow!

What do I think of Tokyo?
From what I have seen, It has been amazing! Seeing the architecture, eating good sushi amongst other things has been amazing!
The hostel is good, the location is amazing, but the breakfast could be better! It becomes hot in the room as well!

I would definitely come here again, as it is certain that I have missed something, and hopefully I will be here again!

Day 5/Happy Midsummer!

Happy Midsummer everybody!
Today I missed breakfast, so I chilled on the computer for a bit, and went for lunch (at mcdonalds, which i´m not proud of!) and went to Tokyo tower and Shiba park, and chilled there for a bit!
The Tower was big, but I have heard it doesn´t have that great of a view, so I didn´t get up there!
After that I went back to the hostel and chilled for a bit, since it was quite the walk!
After that I walked to the train station close to The Imperial garden, just to seek it out, for when I´m leaving on Sunday. The trek made me realise that I should take a taxi over there. Because I have a ticket to the express train to the airport from there.
At the same time, a taxi to Narita airport is just too expensive! It cost about 200 euros!

I realise it´s Midsummer in Sweden, so everyone who celebrates it, Happy Midsummer!

Hello!
Today, I got up in a decent time, about 08.30, and ate some breakfast. I chilled on the computer after that and went to Shinjuku Gardens and chilled there for a bit. It is a beautiful park that I could recommend seeing!
After that I went back to the hostel, and took a nap, and afterwards I planned on heading to the Red Gate, I looked it up on where it is, which is beyond the imperial palace. I walked over an hour trying to find, but gave up. I realised I didn´t walked far enough. So I did get some exercise!

Hello Everybody!
Today is a rainy day! I wok up at 6am, not deliberately of course, and chilled on the computer until breakfast, which I took a nap! I decided to go to Tokyo Tower, but as said, it was raining outside! But i borrowed an umbrella and walked the walk!
When i got there I was wet, and it was cloudy, so I didn´t bother going up there! So I walked back, and took off my wet clothes. Taking another nap! That´s the life on the road! I went to grab something to eat, still raining, and has chilled ever since!

First Day of Tokyo!

Hello!
I woke about 7.30am, since I used to get up that early apparently! I chilled by the computer for a bit, until breakfast opened up, I had some eggs, bread and banana. Then I looked on google maps on where I could go!
The imperial Palace looked interesting, so I walked over there via Hibiya park, A park I can recommend seeing!
So I went to The Imperial palace, which was closed off, so I just walked the Imperial Gardens for a bit. So from there I walked back, and saw the Hie Shrine on the way. After that I walked back to the hostel, and took a nap, since i´m a bit jet lagged.
After that wonderful nap I took a walk to Aoyama park and cemetery! I chilled there for a bit, and walked back. In the evening I went to a sushi place and realised that the pieces are bigger than in Sweden, at least twice as big!
Tonight I´m gonna chill, as i´m planning on heading to Togu Palace, maybe even shinjuku gyoen national gardens!

Arrived in Tokyo Japan!

Hello! I have arrived in Tokyo, have checked in to a hostel in Minato, which close to the centre of town!
The whole trip started on Saturday (i did the laundry and most of my packing on Friday), when I woke up at 5.45 am, deliberately, because I don´t want to rush, the flight to Stockholm lifted at 11.00. So I got some breakfast, and hanged by the computer for a bit, until I took a shower, and packed the rest of the stuff needed!
My parents came and picked me up at 9.30, which might seem pretty early, but I rather be there early than having to hurry!
Apparently I got the wrong booking reference in the first email, but I looked it up and found the right code, so I could check in my bag. My mom started crying! My Lovely mom!
The flight to Stockholm went well. I had 3 hours until my flight to Dubai, so I grabbed some lunch at a sushi bar at Arlanda. When I´m in Arlanda, I either eat Sushi or Max Burgers! And since I´m going to Tokyo, Sushi suited just fine!
The flight took a little bit longer, about 5-6 hours, so landed in Dubai about 10pm. I managed to see both Rogue One and Doctor Strange!
The flight to Tokyo lifted at 02.40am, so yeah..... in the middle of the night! SO by now i´m getting tired. so I managed to get at least some sleep during the flight! I landed about 17.15 local time in Tokyo!
SO I checked out my backpack, and took the express to the Train station. Since it´s my first time here, I have no clue on where to go next, but I researched beforehand that I had to take the subway to Akasaka, which was the closest station to my hostel. So I asked people for direction and I managed to find it about 21.30. So I have chilled until then, I will probably get some real sleep before going out tomorrow!

I have had my last shift today! Tomorrow I will be leaving to Tokyo, and will land at 17.40 on Sunday!
It´s so surreal! Going to a new country in over 2 years! Last time I went to a new country was in 2015 when I headed to Belgium the first time and Brazil!
I won´t get a lot of sleep because the excitement!

I think I´m making up for last year as well, as I didn´t travel to a new country, so I will go to 3 new countries this time, if you count a day in Beijing, China!
I still Can´t believe it! Hopefully you will enjoy this trip with me!

1 week to go!

I have only one week left, before my trip (almost) around the world! Time just fly by so fast!
I only have 5 shifts left from my work, so yes, i am counting down!

In preparation for the trip I have bought some currencies, which cost over 20k swedish kronors! Bought some Yen, Yuan (chinese money) Euros and GBP. As I said in the last blog, I´m having a layover in Beijing, which makes me need some money!
There might be some stuff left to fix before the trip though, as maybe getting some sun lotion, ans stuff like that! Which I will probably fix during the week. I will aslo have to do the laundry beforehand, So i don´t have to do it during the trip. But then again, I would probably have to do it during the trip anyway! For some reason!

I will keep you posted on both youtube and the website during the trip!
