Two Trips coming up!

9/26/2019

Hello Everybody! It´s been a while since I have written anything! I have been working quite a bit since I got home from the trip!
But now I have 2 trips coming up! The plan were just one but I couldn´t help myself!
The first one is just in a couple of days, as I have bought a ticket to a concert in Stockholm, John Mayer to be exact!
I saw that he released some more tickets for the concert, so I checked it out, and saw a great spot, and I took the chance and bought it! I did buy a decent prized flight and accommodation, considering the short notice. The concert is on the 1st of October. It might be tough, since I get off work on 7am that morning and have a flight at 09.55. Then having the concert later on that evening!
Why did I buy tickets for this concert? I love his music and He is amazing live! I will be in stockholm until thursday the 3rd of October!

Back in Sweden!

Hello! I´m back home in Sweden now!
The trip home started yesterday, as I woke up early and chilled for a bit. The check out was at 10.30, but at 08, I had already packed my stuff and went to the Brignole train station, as a bus to the airport would leave from there.
When I got to the train station, a bus was waiting, so I got on the bus and went to the airport!
I was early, since my flight lifted at 13.40, So I had to wait to check in my bags. After a while I could check them in, and I went through security just fine. I had a look on duty free and bought something for myself.
The plane lifted on time and landed on time.
I had some time to kill in Munich, as the flight lifted for Stockholm at 21.20.
So I went through duty free, and bought some more for myself.
I also had some food, since I hadn´t eaten something in a long while. I had a burger that cost 24 euros, it was nice, but it wasn´t worth 24 euros.
I was getting tired by this time. But after I have uploaded my footage of my time in Genoa and chilled on the computer for quite a while the boarding came and the plane lifted on time.
I arrived in Stockholm at around 23.00, and went to Rest and Fly, which is a cheap place you could sleep, if you have an overnight layover. but sadly, it was full, so I had to sleep on a bench. Which wasn´t a great sleep, obviously.
I slept on and off till 4am, So I gave up and chilled on the computer till 7am, when I got through security for the domestic flight, which lifted at 11.20. so I decided to ahve breakfast/brunch at Max, as i was very hungry.
I chilled on the computer until the flight lifted, and my brothers girlfriend picked me up, which was awesome!
I packed up my stuff and went next door for a delivery. I then chilled on the computer for a bit.

Lazy last day in Italy!

Hello Everybody!
Since my last post earlier today, I have had a lazy day. I decided to go out and find a store that I found during my exploration earlier in the week. It was some bad timing though, as it rained quite a bit during the walk. I did find the store and bought something for myself. After that I tried to grab some lunch at place I have had lunch before, but they weren´t open yet.
So I decided to head back to the hotel, to leave my stuff and let the clothes dry for a bit. During I uploaded the footage from the day trip to the Sinking Castle (which you can see down below), and chilled for a bit.
After a while I decided to go and grab some early dinner at the same place as before, but they apparently was closed during the afternoon. Instead I took a walk around the area, and decided to head back and take a shower before they opened.
The rain ahd stopped but now it was Windy.

Day trip to Lake Garda!

Hello everybody, I´m writing this the day later, since it was a long day yesterday!
The day started very early, as I woke up needing to go to the bathroom, as usual, and went back to bed. I set the alarm at 05.10 and packed some supplies and went to the train station, as I planned on taking the 6.30 train.
I bought the tickets and waited for the train. I went to Pavia, and switched trains to Milano lambrate and then went to Densenzano, arriving at 10.00 (so yeah, it took a while). I waited for the bus to Sirmione, which is where I wanted to go. I had to wait until 10.53 for the bus. It took about 20min to get as close as I could to Sirmione.
I took a quite a long walk from there, and after a while I arrived in Sirmione and Castle Scaglieri, which is very close to Lake Garda. I immediately went into the castle, which cost 6 euros, and had a look around, the place is quite huge, and I took my time going through it all. It was awesome!
After a while, I got ou of the castle, having seen what could be seen and had look around the area.
I walked along the coast, and it was awesome, and I then walked into a park. I then thought I should have something to eat. I heard that the gelato is amazing here, so I grabbed a cup with 3 flavours, Mint chocolate, Liqorice and Caramel, and it was really good!
I then decided to head back, since I felt I have seen a lot and have been up for a long time. I then started to trek back. I found a shuttle bus, that I thought would go to the train station, which I took. I found out it just went in a circle, So it went back up to the castle area, and then went back down further down where I was.
I then got off and found the bus station to the real bus, that went to the train station. So I took that one and got to the train station.
I took the train to Milano Central and took the train to Genoa Brignole. When I got on, I saw that it was numbered seats, and realised that it might be a train that you would need a reservation. The train conductor came and confirmed my suspicions, and gave me the option to pay 15 euros to stay on the train. Which I accepted since I was tired.
But the conductor needed to continue with his work and would come back to me about it. Which he never did, since I think he forogt about it. Lucky me I guess!
It was almost a 2 hour train ride to Genoa. When I got back, I immediately went to Mcds and had dinner, since I didn´t have a decent meal all day. I went back to the hotel and chilled for a bit, being tired.
It was really worth it though! Lake Garda and Scaglieri castle was on my bucket list, so it was very interesting getting there and seeing it in person!
Let´s see what I will be doing on the last day in Genoa!

Today has been another chill day!
I did wake up in the middle of the night, going to the bathroom. I had some trouble going back to sleep, since some mosquitos disturbed me. After a while I finally went back to sleep, and woke up again at 7am, and chilled on the computer for a bit.
After a while, I headed out, and went further east than yesterday, but still within the city. I did see some nice things and decided to have some lunch, at the same place I was yesterday.
After the lunch, i decided to go to the same place I went last night, to film, since I forgot my camera last night.
After that I decided to go and buy some supplies for tomorrow, since I´m doing another day trip to lake Garda.

A chill day!

Hello Everybody! Today has been a chill day!
I woke up early, not by choice, and chilled on the computer for a bit, and decided to head out!
I walked south, since I saw a statue on the highway on wednesday which I wanted to check out, in which i did!
I then decided to head east and walked along the coast to a skate park, which was cool. The sun is already out, and it´s getting hot. I have already some burns from being out in the sun these couple of days.
I then headed north (while still being more east then before) to a place called Villa Bombrini Saluzzo, believing it to be a ordinary park, but it was a residential area. So I decided to head back, not before grabbing some lunch and had a good Pizza.
I headed back to the hotel and uploaded the footage from my daytrip to San Fruttuoso (which you can see down below). After that I decided to have an evening walk, in where I went to St Stefanos church, and then to Piazza de Ferrari, that has a huge fountain.
I then went back to the hotel and had a shower. It has been a chill day!

Train ride and boat to San Fruttuoso!

9/6/2019

Hello everybody! Today I had a day trip east. I had some doubts about the trip though, as it had rain during the evening and was cloudy during the morning.
It started very early, I woke up at 2am, needing to go to the bathroom, and went back to bed and set the alarm on 5.10. So I could get a stressfree morning until the train at 8.26.
I went to the train station at 7.30 and bought the tickets to Santa Margherita, which were cheap, and it went quick to buy. Most of the time I try to buy train tickets at a station, the machines to accept my card.
So waited a bit at the station for the train, and it arrived on time. The train ride didn´t take long, as it took about half an hour.
I then walked from the station to the harbour, trying to find where the boat to San Fruttuoso were going from. Found it relatively quickly and the ticket booth opened at 09.45, so I had a look around Santa Margherita for a bit until the booth opened up. I bought a return ticket, which was quite cheap.
The boat left at 10.15, and went to Portofino first.
I didn´t get off the boat, since I wanted to get to San Fruttuoso, and after dropping some people off, the boat left for San Fruttuoso, which is a very small place, that has a church/abbey of sorts.

You may wonder: Why do I want to go there?
Well, It´s because it has a item from my Bucket List, namely The Christ in The Abyss, which is a christ statue at the bottom of the ocean, and I wanted to see if I could get a glimpse of it (which I didn´t sadly).
I had a look around the abby, which were interesting, I would have explored more, but I only had about 1.5 hours since the last boat left at 12.30. So after being in the abbey and looking around the area, I headed back to the boat, which took the same route back, going via Portofino to Santa Margherita.
This time, I decided to have something to eat, and since we are in Italy, I should have a pasta dish.
So I went to a restaurant and had a Pesto dish, which were good, and I also had some dessert as well.
I decided to head back to Genoa, so I walked back to the train station, and waited for the train, which were a bit late. But it eventually came, and I managed to get to Genoa relatively quickly. I headed back to the hotel, as I was tired, and have chilled since then.
Tmorrow I will probably have a chill day. Since I don´t have anything planned.

Long walk!

Hello everybody!
Today has been quite a chill day. It started early, as usual, and trying to chill on the computer, but the wifi didn´t work, so after I while I decided to head out!
I started to head up north, going to the brignole train station.
Going past the station, I headed further north, and I looked at the map which showed a river, but when I got there, it had been all dried up, and it looked like that is has been like that for a while. I did see some wild boars on the river bank.
I still walked along the riverbank and got past the football stadium, which wasn´t a lot to see.
I headed even more further north and eventually got to Momunental cemetary of Staglieno. But before I got there I got sidetracked and headed up a huge hill, which was a goo exercise, but it almost broke me. It was also a dead end, so I headed back down the hill, and finally got to the cemetary, which was beautiful.

Long walk in the sun!

Good evening everybody!
Today I have been walking quite a lot in the sun!
The day started though quite early, as I needed to go to the bathroom, and I chilled on the computer. Then I decided to head out!
I decided to head west, and walked to Santo Stefano, which was a church on a hill. I then head a bit north to Piazza Corvetto, which was close to an awesome waterfall, which had an entrance so you could be inside!
I then walked west to via Garibaldi and went inside a museum, which showed how it was like in the old days!
After that I continued West, and saw Basilica Della Santissima, a big cathedral.
Then I headed to the docks and continued west to Villa de Principe, which is a train station.
I decided to head back from here, taking the long road back! Going along the docks, which ahd some decent views.
Along the way, a couple of people tried to give me "free stuff", so they could get some money, but I wasn´t having it. I just said no and walked away!
I continued down along the docks, the sun glaring, and not a single cloud in sight! I did see Nostra Signora della Grazie, which is a statue. I continued on and eventually got to the Museum of contemporary art. I then took a curve and walked to what I thought would be Door of the Arches, but was Arco della Vittoria.
I decided to go and have a late lunch/ early dinner, so I grabbed something to eat and head back to the hotel. I have uploaded a short clip of the waterfall, which took way longer than expected! I have just chilled since then, and will probably take a shower and have an early evening!

Hello everybody! I have arrived in Genoa Italy! It is HOT here!

The day started Very early, waking up at 3.30, even though I set the clock at 4.10. I chilled for a bit and packed a few things before my taxi arrived at 5.
I arrived at the airport and had to wait a while until I could check in my bag, it was just becuase it was early in the morning!
Eventually I checked in my bag, went through security and the flight lifted on time. I had some brunch at McDonalds. I´m not proud of it. I went through security again, and checked the duty free, didn´t see anything exciting.
The flight lifted to Munich at 11.45, and lifted on time! I walked around and found something that I might buy on the way home!
The flight to Genoa was late, as some bags were late. But it arrived on decent time. I grabbed my bag and took the bus to the centre of town.
I walked down to the hotel, and checked in. Got a tour of the place and got to my room.
I took a walk around town and had some food!
So now I will just chill!
