Day trip to Lake Garda!

Hello everybody, I´m writing this the day later, since it was a long day yesterday!
The day started very early, as I woke up needing to go to the bathroom, as usual, and went back to bed. I set the alarm at 05.10 and packed some supplies and went to the train station, as I planned on taking the 6.30 train.
I bought the tickets and waited for the train. I went to Pavia, and switched trains to Milano lambrate and then went to Densenzano, arriving at 10.00 (so yeah, it took a while). I waited for the bus to Sirmione, which is where I wanted to go. I had to wait until 10.53 for the bus. It took about 20min to get as close as I could to Sirmione.
I took a quite a long walk from there, and after a while I arrived in Sirmione and Castle Scaglieri, which is very close to Lake Garda. I immediately went into the castle, which cost 6 euros, and had a look around, the place is quite huge, and I took my time going through it all. It was awesome!
After a while, I got ou of the castle, having seen what could be seen and had look around the area.
I walked along the coast, and it was awesome, and I then walked into a park. I then thought I should have something to eat. I heard that the gelato is amazing here, so I grabbed a cup with 3 flavours, Mint chocolate, Liqorice and Caramel, and it was really good!
I then decided to head back, since I felt I have seen a lot and have been up for a long time. I then started to trek back. I found a shuttle bus, that I thought would go to the train station, which I took. I found out it just went in a circle, So it went back up to the castle area, and then went back down further down where I was.
I then got off and found the bus station to the real bus, that went to the train station. So I took that one and got to the train station.
I took the train to Milano Central and took the train to Genoa Brignole. When I got on, I saw that it was numbered seats, and realised that it might be a train that you would need a reservation. The train conductor came and confirmed my suspicions, and gave me the option to pay 15 euros to stay on the train. Which I accepted since I was tired.
But the conductor needed to continue with his work and would come back to me about it. Which he never did, since I think he forogt about it. Lucky me I guess!
It was almost a 2 hour train ride to Genoa. When I got back, I immediately went to Mcds and had dinner, since I didn´t have a decent meal all day. I went back to the hotel and chilled for a bit, being tired.
It was really worth it though! Lake Garda and Scaglieri castle was on my bucket list, so it was very interesting getting there and seeing it in person!
Let´s see what I will be doing on the last day in Genoa!
