A New Year has arrived!

Hello Everybody! A new year has arrived!
Time flies by so fast! It has been two years since I arrived in Eskilstuna! Where has time gone? It has not felt like 2 years!
A lot of things has happened during these two years! Me getting more comfortable with my new job, having the ability to explore more of Sweden as a whole, and be able to live in another city!

Traveling wise, it is a huge difference between a 1.5 hour train ride, compared to a hour flight! It's a lot cheaper to take the train to the airport! But then again, it get more milage fro. flying from home!
I have explored a lot of the surrounding area as well, as well going to other cities close by, like Västerås, Strängnäs, Örebro, Stockholm, and Uppsala!
It's not that I don't have cities close by at home, it feels different here though, because I´m in a new place and want to explore!

Work wise is going alright, as I said, I´m getting more comfortable, and of course there are things I haven't tried before, and that's something I want to at least try, so I can at least experience some new stuff!
I will also start working more nights as well, and it would be nice to be able to sleep in a couple of days of the month!

Travel wise, I have a trip to London coming up in late May! As there is going to be a concert, one of four!
I will also go back home, just for a couple of days! Which I need to settle some stuff!
Then I need to plan the summer trip as well, in which it's either Japan and London, or three countries in Europe! So we will see what happens!

We will also see what happens this year, as anything can happen! There might be a lot of unsuspecting things that might happen!
I will probably explore more cities (or the same ones) during the year!

The End of the Year!

Hello Everybody!
It's getting to the end of the year! Time flies by so fast! This year has been very interesting! Lots of travel, Lots of live music and lots of exploring!
It has been the first time since 2019, since I have been to a concert outside of Europe, as I went to Japan to see Babymetal! Last time I saw John Mayer in The US, which I also saw in Stockholm this year as well!

Speaking of Japan, it was the first time since 2017 I was able to go there, and it was also a new city, Yokohama, which was very close to Tokyo! it was a nice city, and I do want to go back there someday! I of course want to go back to Tokyo, and other places in Japan! It has made me want to learn Japanese, which I do see some progress in, as I do recognize certain letters and phrases!

I also went to a new city and country, Ljubljana Slovenia! Which was a big surprise! The city is beautiful and very walkable! I will definitely go back there someday! I also want to go to more new cities, as I tend to go to places I have been to before quite a lot! I need to check off items from my Bucket list!

This year has also been concert filled! Asforementioned Babymetal and John Mayer, I went to two festivals, Download Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting! Which was very rainy and muddy! But it was a lot of great music! It was the second time I did two festivals in a row!
This year I also saw Blackberry Smoke, which was my second time I saw them Live, as I have seen them at Download Festival a couple of years ago, and Jason Isbell, which was the first time I saw him Live! Both Concerts were amazing!

Work wise is getting better, I felt that I have grown more and more during these two years, or it's getting close to two years! Sure there are some things I need to improve on, as I haven't been a lot on some of the different kinds of surgeries involved, since I have mostly been on the orthopedic side of the OR!

We will see what next year has in store for me!

Celebrating Christmas at home!

Hello Everybody! I´m back in Eskilstuna after an amazing Christmas time back home!
I have spent some time walking around my hometown, catching up with friends and family! I have also been to a outdoor museum and going to a lake!

As you might see, it was a lot of snow back home! At least compared to Eskilstuna! But to be fair, Christmas should have snow!
As said earlier, it was amazing to catch up with friends and family! Since it was over 6 months ago I saw them last! Celebrating Christmas Eve with my family and then Christmas Day with friends!

It was also nice being home again! Walking around my hometown and seeing that not much has changed! There's something with your hometown, that I can't really explain! Maybe it's the familiarity!
But it was nice being home! We will see when I will get back there again!

Getting back to Eskilstuna was alright as well! My family drove me to the airport, and after checking in my bag, we chilled for a bit, until it was time to go through security!
The flight lifted and landed on time, and I managed to get my bag and got to the train to Eskilstuna with some minutes to spare!
i walked to the apartment, left my stuff, and went to buy some breakfast for tomorrow, since I will work a shift!
Then I have chilled for the rest of the evening!

Going home for Christmas!

Hello Everybody! I am home in Umeå after quite a long day!
The Day started early, as I had a shift at work! It went alright, as I managed to leave early! So I got back, got my stuff and managed to get an earlier train to Arlanda Airport. The train was a little bit late, but I had time!

I checked in my bag and got some dinner and walked around Arlanda for a bit until going through security and my got checked, as I forgot that I had fluids in my bag.
I walked around some more, and bought a present for one of my family! I went to the gate and the flight was a little bit late! But it arrived on time!

My dad and brother for me, and I got my bag relatively quickly! We drove back home and there was a huge line to the airport, and I guess a lot of people were going home for Christmas!
We talked while getting back, and we eventually got back, and I got a lot of mail. My Hometown has a lot of snow, which is nice! Winter needs snow!
I need to unpack, but I chilled since I got back! But I will unpack!

One week to go!

Hello everybody! It is one week until my trip home!
It will be nice to go home and see friends and family! It will also be nice to be home and see my hometown, even though it was 6 months since I was home the last time! So of course I will head into town and see if it has changed since last time I was home!

I´m also still planning the summer trip, as I have some options planned! I will probably start planning it next year, as I will have more funds to organize it!
I have also a trip to London in late May to plan book as well, that will just be a few days though, so that´s another thing to plan! But it will be nice!

Then I have two concerts in Stockholm to plan as well, but that's easy, it's just to find an hotel to stay for both concerts, which will be a month in-between!
All in all, it will be 4 concerts this year alone so far! Which is, now that I think about it, the same amount as last year, As I watched Babymetal, John Mayer, Blackberry Smoke and Jason Isbell this year, and will see Babymetal (Yes again!), Oasis, The offspring and Electric Callboy next year!
We will also see if I go somewhere new next year!

There's a lot of things happening next year! I will also start working evening shifts as well, which is going to be nice! Work is going alright, as I prepare for the mentioned evening shifts!

Christmas is getting closer!

Hello everybody! I hope everyone is doing alright!
Christmas is getting closer, and me going home is getting closer as well! It will be nice to see my family and friends again! it has also been close to six months since I have been back home as well!

It's not that I don't like it here, it's just that I miss home! Work is going alright, it has its ups and downs of course! We will probably get more to do during the wintertime, with snow and ice and everything! Have been working evenings, which has been interesting, and nice to be able to sleep in!

I´m also still looking for the next trip, even though I have two trips to London planned! one in late May and one in late July!
I have plans to either go back to Japan (since I loved it last time earlier this year) or go to some other countries in Europe. The only thing speaking against Japan, is that the flights to and from Japan is expensive!

End of November!

Hello Everybody! I hope everyone is alright!
November has ended, and December has arrived, and Christmas is getting closer! Time flies by so fast! It also means that it's a couple of weeks until my trip home! Which is going to be nice, since it's always nice to see my family and friends!

Next week I have a long weekend, and I thought about going abroad during that time, but it was too short of a notice, and it costs too much to go anywhere, so I will stay here in Eskilstuna. Maybe I could do a day trip somewhere! Maybe even do some Christmas shopping! I got some ideas, but I will also have to look around and see what I can find!

Speaking of which, there has been some Christmas markets here in Eskilstuna! One in the Rademacher Smiths, which is like the old town of sorts in Eskilstuna! it was alright, and it was a lot of people there! I found some stuff for myself and some presents!
There was another one at a Museum, which didn't have as much and the other one! but I found some stuff!

Work is going alright, I learn new stuff every day, and will be working the nightshift, which is going to be interesting! It's also nice with having the ability to sleep in every once in a while!

It's getting darker!

Hello Everybody! I hope everyone is alright!
Winter is coming, as it's getting darker and darker! There has snowed a little bit this past week, but not as much as in my hometown! It's also getting colder and colder, as I could go with a summer jacket until last week!

I had my birthday earlier this week, as I´m turning 38 years old! I worked during the day and chilled for the evening! I didn't really do anything special during my birthday, but I did go out for something to eat during the weekend which I rarely do these days!
I also feel my birthday is just an ordinary day, it isn't anything special!

I´m still looking for trips! I have some ideas for some trips next year! 2 trips to London is confirmed though as I will go to one concert on each trip!
I will have another concert in Stockholm in October as well, and will be planning for a 4th concert in Stockholm in November next year! We will see what happens!

Work is going alright, I still learn new stuff all the time! Working evenings is alright as well as it is nice with sleeping in on some days!
I still walking around Eskilstuna, trying to find new stuff to see and do! There will be some Christmas markets next week, which might be interesting!

Looking into more trips!

Hello Everybody!
I´m always looking into more trips! Since there's a lot of places I want to go to and want to go back to!
Cities like New York, Prague, Tokyo amongst a lot of other cities is amazing and I want to go back to them!
Why? I feel that I haven't explored enough of the cities and I did enjoy my time there!

Then I also want to head to Australia, New Zealand and more countries in Asia, since I haven't been to either Australia or New Zealand, and there's a lot of countries in Asia I want to see! There's a lot of places in the world that I haven't been to, and I´m almost always longing to go out!

But I do have trips coming up next year! Two trips to London, and will go to a concert on each! The first will be in late May, and will be a band I have seen a lot of times (but still fun nonetheless!), and the second one will be in August, and will be go to see Oasis with a friend of mine! It will be his first time in London as well!

I have another concert in October next year as well! It will be in The Offspring in Stockholm! It will be my 5th seeing them live and second time in Stockholm!
I´m also planning on seeing Electric Callboy in Stockholm as well, a month later from The Offspring concert!

I do still explore Eskilstuna and the surrounding area, as there might be a lot to see and do! I do take day trips to Sundbyholm, Sundby, and Torshälla, which is outside of the city, but still relatively close to make a day trip out of it!

Getting back to Eskilstuna!

Hello Everybody! I´m back in Eskilstuna now!
The day started early, as I chilled in bed for a bit, and then pack my stuff and decided to check out early!
I then walked to Sofia Church and moved on from there to Katarina Church!
I headed to Montellius road to see a great view over the city!

I then headed through old town and up to Sergels square, and then headed to the train station and got on the train to Eskilstuna! The train arrived a little bit early, and I got back to the apartment! I unloaded my stuff and immediatly went to the store and bought some food! I have then chilled ever since!
I will have some evening shifts next week, which is going to be nice!

Being all over the place!

Hello everybody! Today it feels like I have been all over the place!
The day started early, as I woke around 6am, not intended, and chilled in bed for a bit (which included a nap), and then went out!
I first went to Långholmen, and from there went to the city hall!

From there I went to Kungsträdgården! I then walked to the Vasa Museum, and then walked to Kastellet! I then went to Stureplan and bought something for a friend! I then decided to head back to the hostel, via the old town, and I went to grab something to eat along the way!
I got back and have chilled ever since!

I have had a great time here in Stockholm, and did see an amazing concert in Jason Isbell! I´m glad that I managed to see him live!
Next Concert will probably be in May next year in London! I still need to prepare for that one! I have two more concerts to go to as well, Oasis in London and The Offspring in Stockholm!

Arriving in Stockholm and going to a concert!

Hello Everybody! I´m in Stockholm! I arrived yesterday, and yesterday was fully packed!
I worked the day shift yesterday, and got off work a little bit early, but I barely managed to get back home ,getting my luggage and going to the train station! I got the train on time, and got to Stockholm on time!
I walked to the hostel and got some food on the way!

I checked in, left my stuff and went to Annexet, where the concert would be! I got there just before they opened the doors. I got in, bought some merchandise, some water and got to the front row! I chilled for a bit, and then the opener, SG Goodman came on, she was nice!
Then Jason Isbell came on! He was Awesome! He played a few songs that I haven't heard, and some songs that I have heard, and totally loved!

The concert was just under 2 hours, and I admit I was getting tired, but I stayed the whole concert! When it ended, I walked back to the hostel, and chilled for a bit, and took a shower! then I headed to bed!
I will be here in Stockholm today, and heading back tomorrow! So we will see what I will do today!

Another trip to Stockholm tomorrow!

Hello Everybody! I will be heading to Stockholm tomorrow, and will spending the weekend there, which will be nice!
This time I will be seeing Jason Isbell (and the 400 unit), a country musician, who I have been listening to for a couple of years now, and I couldn't pass up the chance to see him live! It will be at the same venue as last time, as I saw Blackberry Smoke, which is Annexet, near the Globe Arena!

I will spend the rest of the weekend walking around the city, walking around, and exploring! which is also going to be nice! I do like Stockholm in that sense, since it's very walkable and there's a lot to see and do!
We will see what I will find during the weekend!

Work is going alright, I´m still practicing new stuff, and am also working evenings now! Which is a bit different on working during the day! But it's nice to be able to sleep in once in a while!

Lots of things happening!

Hello Everybody! A lot of things will be happening! First I went to Sundbyholm today (video down below) just walking around during a cloudy day, since the last time I was here, was when my family came to Eskilstuna! It was a huge difference since now there aren't any boats left there, and the foliage gives it a nice autumn color!

I have also another trip to Stockholm coming up in a couple of weeks! As I will go to another Concert, this time it will be Jason Isbell (and the 400 unit, his backing band), and it will be my first time seeing him live! For those who doesn't know who he is, he is a country singer from the US, and I have been listening to him for a few years now!

It will be at the same place as the last concert I went to, Annexet near the Globe arena! I will also work on the day of the concert, so I will leave work, go pack some stuff and head to Stockholm, check in at the hostel, and probably directly go to the venue! It will be exciting!
After the concert I will spend the rest of the weekend before going back to Eskilstuna!

I will also be going home for Christmas! Which will be amazing, since last time I was home was back in late June! It will be great seeing my family again and celebrating Christmas! I will be almost a week, so there will be time to meet my friends as well!
I will still spend the New Years here in Eskilstuna though, as last year! It will be too short to go anywhere, and I still need to save up some more money to go for a huge trip later on!

Been Busy!

Hello Everybody! It has been a while since I came back from Stockholm!
I have been busy with work, which is going ok! Still learning new stuff every day!
Other than that nothing much has happened since I got back! I still walk around Eskilstuna, Trying to see new stuff!

I do have another trip to Stockholm coming up, in early November! I will be seeing Jason Isbell live, at the same place as the last concert! Which is going to be interesting, as it will also be the first time will be seeing him as well! So I plan to head to Stockholm after work and almost immediately go to the venue! Then I will spend the rest of the weekend in Stockholm as well!

I aslo plan to go back home for Christmas! I hope that I will be there for a little longer, since I have applied for a vacation day in-between the weekend and Christmas! Hopefully I will know relatively quickly, so I can plan for it!
I of course want to see my family and friends, which doesn't happen often!

I still look for other places to go to in the world! Since I have a huge Bucket list I need to start to check off, even though I have been in a couple of them! I do have a trip planned in August next year, since a friend got tickets for Oasis in London, which is going to be awesome! We will see if there going to be more concerts next year!

I´m still practicing Japanese! I do see some improvements, as I start to recognize some Japanese letters and sounds! But I admit that Duolingo has a lot of ads, and pushes them quite a bit, if you don't pay for removing the ads!
But as I said, I do see improvements!
