Arriving in Kegworth for the festival!

Hello Everybody! I have arrived in Kegworth, for Download Festival! Kegworth is not exactly where the festival is going to be, as it is on the other side of an airport compared to Castle Donington, which is closer to the Festival!
The day started early, and chilled for a bit, until I packed the little stuff I had left and went to St Pancras Train Station, and bought tickets for Loughborough!

I was early, so I chilled for a bit, realizing that I forgot something at the hostel, but it wasn't anything important! Eventually the the gate opened up and I got on the train! I took the train to Loughborough, and I had trouble trying to find the bus to Kegworth, and after asking for directions, I finally found it, and took the bus to Kegworth!

I arrived and the apartment/hotel was just by the bus stop! I got into my room and recharged some of my stuff, and then I took the bus to Castle Donington! I had a lok around in the rain, and then had an early dinner/Late lunch! After that I went to a lookout point to see the airport!
After that I decided to head back to the hotel!

The room isn't the best one I have stayed in, but it was cheap! I´m going to chill for the rest of the night, conserving energy for the weekend, since it's going to be fully packed with a lot of music! It has been a couple years since I have done two festivals in a row!
I also think that I went too hard in London, since I might be a little sick! Which figures! I might also be burned out as well!

Last day in London!

Hello Everybody! It's the last day in London, well at least before the festival, as I will be heading to Loughborough tomorrow, relatively early!
Today started relatively early, as I´m used to it, and slept in a little bit!
Then I headed out, to Tower of London and Tower Bridge! Since it was early, and I wanted to wait until Borough Market opened up, I actually went up the Tower Bridge!

Which was interesting, but didn't have a lot to see! sure you could see the machines that operates it, but it was not a lot!
Then I went to Borough Market and had something to eat! I then headed to Abbey road, to hang a bit! From there I walked to Little Venice, which was nice!

I then decided to head back to London Bridge, so I could go up the Shard!, When I got up though, I realized that I bought a ticket for a later date, and had to pay a little extra to get in the same day! Which I did, since I was already there, and I got up, and the view was impressive! But it was more expensive than expected!

Then I headed back to the hostel and chilled for a bit, getting some supplies for tomorrow on the way! I chilled for a bit until going out to eat!
I need to pack for tomorrow, so I don't have to rush tomorrow!

What do I think of this part of the trip?
It is the first time I´m staying in Oxford Circus, as I always tend to stay in Kings Cross, and it's a good base to be here!
There have been some more firsts on this trip, as it was the first time I went up The Wellington Arch, Tower Bridge and The Shard! Which was interesting!
It was also the first time I went to Little Venice, which is a nice little place!

I had good times here, even though it was a little bit more expensive than expected, but I can afford it!
I will have another day her next week and then in August and October!
But now I gotta prepare for tomorrow!

Hello Everybody! It has been the third full day here in London!
The day started relatively early, as my sleep is getting a bit better, as I don't wake up as early as before!
I chilled in bed for a bit, and decided to head out to Parliament hill! It did have a good view over the city! it was a bit cloudy, and I could feel some rain coming!

So I went to the underground and went down to Camden Town to have some lunch. As soon as I got my lunch and sat down, it started pouring down! So I just had lunch and waited out the weather, which was relatively quick! After lunch, I went to Primrose Hill, and chilled for a bit! Then I went down to Regents Park and had a look around!

From there I went to Barbican Centre, and saw a Banksy painting in the wild! Then I chilled there for a bit, until going to St Pauls Cathedral, for the underground, and went back to the hostel for a bit! I then went out for some dinner, I had some sushi, but I didn't get full, so I went down to Piccadilly Circus fir some pizza! I then went back to the hostel and have chilled ever since!

Tomorrow is the last day before Download Festival! I do have some plans to go to Tower bridge and Borough Market and places that I have missed otherwise! and then of course pack for Download Festival!

Second full day in London!

Hello Everybody! It has been the second full day here in London!
The day started early, but not as early as yesterday! So I chilled in bed for a bit, and then needed to go to the bathroom. I then decided to head out!
I planned on going to Kew gardens today, and I took the underground to embankment, so I could continue to Kew, and I went on a train heading to Kew, but then it got switched to Wimbledon during the ride, so I got of at Earls court, waiting for another train to Kew, which never showed, so instead I went to Knightsbridge to see Harrods!

I then walked to Battersea Park, and had a look around, and as it was quite big, I had a good walk! I then walked to Stamford Bridge, just to claim that I saw it! Then I walked through Brompton Cemetery on the way to the station! I then headed to Notting Hill and Portobello Market! Where I found some comic books for myself!
I then headed back to the hostel, and bought some more supplies! I go through water like crazy!

I then chilled at the hostel for a bit, until I saw it was clearing up, as was cloudy with a little bit of rain during the day, I decide to head to the BT Tower, which was close by, and then decided to grab something to eat, and I found a market hall close to the hostel, and had some food!
Then I headed back and has chilled ever since!

Well, I found a ticket for Primus in London in August, so of course I went for it! It will be the same week as I fly off to London, so I will fly to London, see Primus, get back home for a night and then fly to Tokyo! So its going to be intense!
It's going to be 4 concerts in 4 months! Primus in London, followed by Electric Callboy in Tokyo, then Starsailor in London and then Noah Kahan in Stockholm! Which is going to be amazing!

First full day in London!

Hello! It has been the first full day in London!
The day started very early, not intended, and chilled in bed for a bit!
Then I decided to head out, and I took a walk to Covent Garden, and from there to both Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus!

From there, I walked down to Trafalgar Square, and wanted to walk down to Embankment and continue to London Eye but I need to go the bathroom. After I was done, a button from my pants got loose! So I had to go back to the hostel to get a belt, and then head back to Embankment and then walked to South Bank and London Eye!

From there I walked past House of Parliament and to St James Park, and chilled for a bit! I then decided to walk to Buckingham Palace, and walked to a park, and something to eat!
Then I decided to walk to Wellington Arch, and had the opportunity to walk into and up the Arch! Which I did!

I then decided to walk to Hyde park, and actually head to Speakers Corner, which was the first time I walked there! There were a protest for Palestine!
Then I decided to walk through Hyde Park to Kensington Gardens! After chilling a bit, I decided to head back! I wanted to find a new pair of pants, considering the button and all, and found some shorts, that might be good!

Then I bought some supplies and got some food! Then I headed back to the hostel, and chilled for a bit, and then walked out to Carnaby Street, and Savile Row, to see where The Beatles played on the roof!
Then I head back to the hostel, and chilled her since!
We will see what I will do tomorrow! I have an Idea to head to Kew gardens, since it has been a while since I was there last time!

Arriving in London!

Hello Everybody! I have arrived in London now!
The day started really early, since I had an early flight, so I woke at 04.15, so I could catch some breakfast, and pack the rest of my stuff!
I had a taxi waiting for me, and the check in went really fast! The flight went smooth and I had some time to kill in Arlanda, so I had some more breakfast!

The flight from Stockholm was a bit late, but it landed on time! I got my bag relatively quick and took the subway to the hostel, they are doing some maintenance on the line I usually go on, but I managed to get to the city! I checked in at the hostel, which is in Oxford Circus, and after leaving my stuff, I went out for a walk!

I went to a couple of parks, like Soho Square Gardens and Russell Square gardens, I then decided to walk up to Camden town, via Kings Cross and Mornington Crescent! It didn't take that long time to walk! I went to see a guy I have met over the years, and we had a chat! I then. decided to grab something to eat, and buy some supplies!

Then I headed back to the hostel and chilled for a bit, until I felt I needed a shower, so I took a shower!
I will see what I will do tomorrow! Hopefully I will get some decent sleep!

The Day before Tomorrow!

Hello Everybody! It´s the last day before a long trip!
I had my last shift at work yesterday, and said my goodbyes! I then went to the store with my mom and brother, while they were grocery shopping, I went and bought some new bags for the trip! SInce my old one is so used, that it has some holes in, so I need a new one!

I had a day off today, so I have chilled for a bit, and went into town and bought some last things for the trip, that I forgot yesterday!
Now I´m doing laundry and will the pack my stuff for tomorrow, as I will leave very early, since I have an early flight!
The trip is going to be intense but fun, as I will be going to some places on my bucket list, like places like Antwerp, Dinant and Luxemburg, as I could also go on day trips to Ghent among other places!

Sure, I have been to Antwerp and Luxemburg before, but it will be the first time I will be in Dinant, since I have only been at the train station, going to other places! It has also been quite a while since I have been to Croatia, last time I was there was during Covid! It will be a good time!
I still need to book a flight to Split and a flight home!

One week until my trip!

Hello Everybody!
It's one week until my trip! I will actually extend my trip, and after the planned Download Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting, I will head to Antwerp for a couple of days, and then to Dinant, Luxemburg, and then fly off to Zagreb, and then Split and Makarska, before heading home!
It will be a really good time and quite a long trip!

The Reason I have the time to go on such a long trip, is the fact that I have quit my job at Thorax Surgery, since I was told that I didn't fit there, which dropped my motivation to be there. It doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy the people working there, and I did learn a lot, but it didn't suit me.

If you're wondering, Yes I can afford it, and will also go to Japan later this year! I have also booked a trip to London just before the trip to Japan as well, as I planned on going to see Primus, both sadly the tickets got sold out, but a London Trip is a London Trip!

Hello Everybody! It's been a while since I have written anything!
Buuuut! I have now booked a trip to Japan, in late August/early September! Will be flying to Tokyo and spend a couple of days there, and then head down to Osaka for like 5 days and then head back to Tokyo, for a couple of more days!

The reason that I will be going to Japan is actually a Concert, Electric Callboy, which will be the second time I will actively be watching them and the second show I will be seeing in Japan. I did enjoy the show I saw in Stockholm last year!

But before that, I have two festivals to go to!
Download Festival in England and Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium! I have been to both before and it will be a good time! But at the same time very intense, as I have done two festivals in a row a couple of times and it has been intense! I hope it will be good weather too!

I´m also looking for more trips since I also want to explore more of Belgium, and also want to go back to Croatia! Since I haven't been exploring Belgium in quite a while, and it has been a long time since I have been to Croatia!
It has been a long time since I spent time in Croatia during the summertime as well! since last time was back in 2020 during Covid!
But we will see if I will do it!

Arriving in Stockholm, Concert, and going home!

Hello Everybody! I´m already back in Umeå now!
The flight down to Stockholm went smooth, I got my bag quick, and I took the express to town, and walked to the hostel down in södermalm!
I checked in and went to bed almost immediately!

Which leads to yesterday, I woke up early, and I didn't want to, and chilled for a bit, and then decided to head out. I first headed to montellius road, which had a great view over Stockholm! I then decided to head to Skeppsholmen and chilled for a bit!
I then went to Kungsträdgården and chilled for a bit as well! I then went to Sergels square, and noticed my phones battery was almost done, So I went back to the hostel, noticing a barbershop relatively close to the hostel, so I went in and got a haircut!

I then went to an asian shop just across the street from the hostel, and bought some stuff that I always buy whenever I go to Japan, Pocari sweat!
I then went back to the hostel, and recharged my stuff! After a while, I went to grab something to eat, and took a shower, before going to Hovet! I arrived just in time for the doors to open!
Since I bought tickets from Ticketmaster, I was for some reason held up, since they didn't have scanners for Ticketmaster! but I eventually got in, just in time as the first opener were starting!

The First opener was Master Peace, which was alright! Then South arcade came on, the band I wanted to see! They played all of their great songs, and had good energy! After their set, I decided to leave, since the headliner, 5 seconds of summer, didn't interest me, and it was also a long day!
So I headed back back to the hostel, and chilled for a bit until going to bed for an early morning!

Which leads to today! I woke up really early, since I had an early flight back! I chilled for a bit, packed my stuff and then walked to the station! I took the bus to the airport and checked in my stuff! The flight went smooth and I got my bag quick! My brother picked me up and drove me home! After that I left my stuff and went to the store, to buy some food!
Then I have chilled even since!
I enjoyed the concert and the time in Stockholm!

I have two festivals coming up, and a concert in London in October! I did also buy another ticket for another show in Stockholm in November, Noah Kahan! Who is on my bucket list! I was lucky to get one, since he released the tickets on Friday, and it was almost sold out a day later!

Hello Everybody! Sorry for not writing anything in a while! Been busy with work and stuff!
but I´m on my way to Stockholm right now (being at the airport while writing this!)
I´m off to a concert on Saturday! 5 Seconds of summer is the headliner, but I want to see on of their openers, South Arcade!

This is going to be the first concert of the year, since I will also go to two festivals this summer, Download and Graspop Metal Meeting!
Then I have Electric Callboy in Japan in late August! Then I have another concert in London in October, Starsailor, who will play their first album with an orchestra! So There´s a lot going on!
Then there's two concerts I want to see, Noah Kahan in Stockholm and Primus in London!

I will of course explore a bit of Stockholm and chill during the day, and sadly I have an early flight on Sunday, so there might not be a lot of sleep!

2 festivals and a concert booked!

Hello Everybody!
I have booked two festivals and also an another concert just next month!
The festivals are Download Festival, and Graspop Metal Meeting! Two festivals I have been to before, Download countless times, and Graspop only twice before!
The is the third time I´m doing two festivals in a row as well! So it's going to be intense!

I´m also going to a concert next month! Technically it's 5 seconds of summer, but the reason I´m going is actually one of the openers, South Arcade! I found out about them last year, and wanted to see them live!
I have another chance to see them at Download as well!
I got the ticket for free as well, so I needed to just buy a ticket for Stockholm and have somewhere to stay!

I still have to book the flight for Japan as well! Already have a ticket for Electric Callboy in Tokyo, which is going to be amazing! It will be the second concert in Japan for me!
I did see that another band, Primus, is playing in London just before I plan on going to Japan, which would be interesting to see as well! But I have only applied for vacation for the Japan trip though!
It would also cost more to head to London and then to Tokyo, and from Tokyo back home! But we will see IF I could do it!

Its been a while!

Hello Everybody! It has been quite a while since I have written anything!
I have been busy with work.
How does work go?
Well, it could have been way better, I had a meeting earlier this week, where it was brought up that some coworkers thought I wasn't suited for this job. That my nervousness made me get stuck, and that I had a lot of things going on in my head, that information didn't stick, amongst other things! They had hoped that my nervousness would be gone after two months!

Which really stings! Since I was really trying my best, and sadly, it wasn't enough!
So I have to think what I will do now! Do I want to stay? What other options are there? Of course I will still try my best, while I´m still there, but of course my confidence isn't good!

Then considering all this, I don't know if I could manage to travel this summer as well, not as much as I want to, Since the festivals that I am planning on doing will cost a lot of money! Sure I have some money saved up, but I´m still hesitant about it!

5th week of the job!

Hello Everybody! It has been the 5th week of the new job! I can't really say it is new anymore, since I have been here for over a month now!
The week has been ok, I still push myself too hard, and manage to get myself in a bad mood, as I want to do things as perfect as I can! But I´m still inexperienced with this part of Anesthesia! My supervisor and coworkers are still amazing!

Traveling wise, I saw that one band I want to see, South Arcade, will be playing in Stockholm, so of course, Im interested, but I need to save up money for the summer, as I still plan for two festivals and Japan! I still plan for a trip after Japan to London, and a trip for my birthday!

4th week of the new job!

Hello Everybody! It has been the 4th week of the new job!
It wasn´t the best start, as I still try to adapt, but the rest of the week were better, and I´m still learning new stuff! I´m getting the hang of some of the surgeries, and I will keep at it!
The coworkers are nice and helpful!

I´m still looking for trips too! I got a ticket for a concert in Japan (Electric Callboy), and am considering a concert in London the month after that, Starsailor, a band I have seen three times already, all in London!
I´m also considering going to Download Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting this year as well, on top of that thinking about a trip on my 40th birthday!
So there's a lot of trips planned out this year!

It will be expensive though, so I need to save up money for it! But it will be easier since I moved back here!
But it will be a fun year!
