I got a New Job!

Hello Everybody! I got some huge news!
I got a new job! I will be moving back home to my hometown, and will be working in a Thorax surgery unit! I will start my new job after the New Years!
I was thinking about moving back home since my dad got sick, and when he passed away, it sealed the deal, and I needed to move back home!

When I quit my current job, I got 3 months notice, so I got time to search for a new job, and now I got this job!
It's going to be interesting. and it will also be rough, since it's a new area of Anaesthesia that I´m not used to, as I´m used to orthopedic surgeries and a little of ear, nose and neck kind of surgeries. But I will probably be learning a lot!

I got 3 weeks left to my last day of work here, and will head back home just before Christmas! So I need to clean out the apartment I´m currently at, and I have already prepared a flight home! It will be nice with a couple of weeks of time off, before starting my new work! It will also be nice to move back home, even though I got some friends here!

I have learned a lot here! It has been a great couple of years, even though it had its ups and downs! It has also been the longest time I have been away from my hometown! Time flies by so fast!
Just being able to visit the surrounding cities and exploring a lot of areas, while also being relatively close to Arlanda Airport, so I could fly to different countries!

It was the first in a long time since I flew to Japan, and it has been a lot of different concerts, both in Stockholm, and London England, while it also have been quite a lot of festivals as well! I hope that I will be able to continue my travels and still be able to learn new stuff at work!

Football game, Concert, and going back home!

Hello Everybody! Im writing this the next day, since yesterday was very busy!
Yesterday started early, as I chilled for a bit before breakfast! After breakfast, I decided to head out, going to Tower Hill, to see Tower of London and Tower Bridge! After crossing the bridge, I went to borough market and had a look!

After that I walked to to St Pauls Cathedral, and had a look! From there, I took the tube to Embankment and walk to the London Eye, and then walked passed Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and St James Park to Buckingham Palace!
From there, I went to a store relatively close to buy something for myself! From there I headed to Covent Garden, and bought something for my mom!

It was getting closer to the game and I walked to Leicester Square and had a look, since there was a market there! I then went back to the hostel and recharged my stuff a bit, but now the game had started so I needed to get there, I tried to figure out a route to the station close to the arena, but it didn't work out, so had to take another route! I eventually got there, missing the first half of the game!
I arrived just in time for the second half to start!

The game was exciting, and I had a seat just behind the goal! it was already 1-1 from the first half, and Hull scored relatively quickly! But QPR came back, equalized and eventually scored a winning goal, as they won 3-2!
After the game, I headed to the venue for the second concert of this trip, Starsailor in Kentish Town!
The trip took a while, and I got off the tube a little bit early, so I had to walk under a mile to get there!

After the show I headed to the hostel, as it was getting late, and I was tired! I went to bed, and recharged my stuff, and got up early, since I had to get the tube to the airport!
I packed the rest of my stuff, and was on my way! It took a while to get there! I checked in my bag, and went through security relatively quickly! I had to go to the gate right away! I still managed to buy some stuff for my niece!

It took a while for the flight to lift, as it was refueling! But it eventually lifted, and was 10min late! So I went somewhere to grab some lunch and went to the train! While writing this, I´m on the train back to Eskilstuna! So it has been quite fast paced!

What did I think of my time here in London?
It the first time I stayed in a hostel in an other part of town, since I always tend to stay in Kings cross, but now I stayed in Earls court! The area wasn't that bad! The Hostel, Saint James Backpackers could have been better though! Their boiler had some issues, and it was cold in the room! It wouldn't help when a roommate insisted to open the window on a regular basis to air out the room, leaving the room cold! They had decent breakfast though!
But I wouldn't stay here again!

The concerts: Amy Macdonald and Starsailor, were both amazing! Amy had a slow start though, but she got her momentum going! It was also to see friends that I have met from the shows!
It was also the first time in a long time since I saw a football game live, even though I only saw the second half! Smaller games do have atmosphere!

All in all it was a good trip, but a bit of an expensive one! Worth it though! This marks the last abroad trip of the year, and I will see where I will travel to next!
I have some ideas, as for example Download Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting again, and a trip to Japan in late August for Electric Callboy, and then maybe going somewhere for my 40th birthday next year!

After coming back, I need to buy some food for the week and then chill for the rest of the night, since I need to get back to work tomorrow!

2nd full day in London!

Hello Everybody! it has been the second full day here in London! They day started a bit early, and chilled for a bit before breakfast! After breakfast I decided to head to Knightsbridge, and see Harrods, and then walked down to Battersea power station, and through the Battersea park, up back to the National History Museum!

From there I headed to Camden Town to have some Lunch! Then I headed to Primrose Hill, and walked down to Regents park, and from there I headed back to the hostel, to recharge my stuff for a bit!
After a bit, I went out for some more supplies, and has then chilled for the rest of the night!

Tomorrow is the last day here in London! Its going to be intense, since it will include a football game and a concert! There is some things that I want to go to as well! So we will see what happens!

First Full day and Amy Macdonald!

Hello Everybody! Yesterday was the first full day in London!
The day started early, which I didn't want to, and chilled for a bit, until breakfast! Then I chilled for a bit more, until heading out! I decided to walk up to Holland Park, which was nice!
Since Notting Hill was close by, I walked over there and had a look! Shops were getting set up, but there wasn't a lot of people, since it was early!

So I then decided to head to Camden town, and chill for a bit! I then head back to the hostel, recharging my stuff and taking a nap!
Then I decided to meet up with some friends I haven't seen in a while! We watched up on what has happened and then decided to meet up again later for the concert!

We met up again and headed to Hammersmith Apollo! We got in the venue and got to our seats, sadly we did have separate seats! The opener was alright! Then Amy Macdonald came on! It was a knackly start, but then both the crowd and Amy started to get their groove and the concert got better!
After the concert, we got something to eat, and went our separate ways!

Which leads to today, we will see what I will do!

Arriving in London!

Hello Everybody! I have arrived in London!
The day started early, and chilled for a bit, waiting for an important call, and then headed to the train station! The train that I was going to take was late, but the train that was going before my train was also late, so I grabbed that, which was fine!

I arrived at Arlanda airport, and had some lunch! I then check in my bag and went through security, which was very smooth!
I then went for my gate, going through passport control, and chilled for a bit! I then got on my flight, and the flight went so smooth that it arrived early!, I grabbed my bag, and went to the underground! The ride to Earls court wasn't as smooth though, as it was delayed with stops!

I checked in at the hostel, Saint James Backpackers, a place I haven´t stayed in before! It seems alright! I then went out for supplies, recharging my stuff and taking a shower!
Tomorrow is going to be the first of two concerts, Amy Macdonald, and will hang around town for a bit , and seeing friends from earlier concerts!

Today is also my birthday! It's the second place, and third time, I am celebrating my birthday in another country! But it's going to be a chill night!

London trip coming up!

Hello everybody! A London trip is coming up on Wednesday!
I will fly quite late, and land about 5pm. I will fly back home on Sunday, so it's a long weekend!
I will be going to two different concerts and a football game!

The concerts are Amy Macdonald, and Starsailor! I have seen both before, as I have seen Amy three times before and Starsailor two times before!
It's also going to be the first time in a eye long time I will go to a football game! The game will be Queens Park Rangers vs Hull City, a championship game! I have thought about other games, but they were expensive!

I will also stay in a place I haven't stayed in before, in Earls court, as I usually stay in a hotel in Kings cross! But the hotels were fully booked, and I grabbed what I could find!
And it's going to be an intense weekend! But I will have a good time!

Hello Everybody! I´m back in Eskilstuna!
After last post, I recharged my stuff and walked to the arena! I talked to some of the people waiting in line! After a while, it opened and I bought some merchandise, and went to my seat! I got some awesome people next to me, chatting about everything!

There was 2 openers, Wargasm and Bury Tomorrow! I haven seen both before, and Wargasm wasn't really that good, and Bury Tomorrow was alright!
Then Electric Callboy came on! Holy shit! They were amazing! They played a lot of songs from their latest album and some of their old ones! They did play some songs as Electric Bassboy as well, which was nice!
After the concert, I walked back to the hostel, and chilled for a bit!

Which leads to today! After some terrible sleep, as I am used to get up early, and I chilled for a bit, and then packed my stuff and checked out of the hostel!
I then walked to Sofia Church and Katarina Church, and then to Medborgarplatsen, and Montelius Road, which have a great view of the city!
I then walked through the old town, and then to the city hall, and then got something to eat, and then went to the train station!
The train ride went smooth and I got back to Eskilstuna on time!

I got back to the apartment, left my stuff and then went to the store, and bought some food, and then chilled her since! I need to get back to work tomorrow!
Electric Callboy was amazing! And I want to see them live again!

Arriving in Stockholm!

Hello Everybody! I have arrived in Stockholm!
Technically I arrived yesterday, as I took the train from Eskilstuna, which was late, and walked from the central station to Södermalm, having something to eat along the way! After checking in at the hostel, which is a place I tend to always stay at during my visits to Stockholm, I chilled for the rest of the night!

Which leads to today! I woke up quite early, which wasn't intended, and chilled for a bit, and then decided to head out! I walked to Slussen and walked along Old town, to Kungsträdsgården, and then walked to Kastellet! From there I walked back to Kungsträdgården, and then walked to the Vasamuseum! From there, I decided to walk to Stureplan and have a look, and then decided to head back to the hostel via the old town!

I will recharge my phone and camera, and then head out to grab something to eat, and probably take a shower, and then I will head to the arena for the concert tonight! Which is going to be amazing! I saw that there's two openers, and then Electric Callboy!
Then I need to head back to Eskilstuna tomorrow!

Trip coming up!

Hello Everybody! It's been a while since I have written anything! Have been busy with work and dealing with the death of my dad!
But I have a trip coming up, it will be a couple of days in Stockholm, as I will take the train on Tuesday night and leaving on Thursday! I will be seeing Electric Callboy live on Wednesday, which is going to be amazing, as it will be the first time I will be seeing them live!

In a couple of weeks, I will also head to London for a couple of days, for two more concerts! I´m thinking about going to a football game as well, those who looks interesting is Fulham vs Sunderland and QPR vs Hull! The thing is that both games is on the same day as the second concert, and it might be too much!

I´m also thinking about go back to Japan next year as well, as I want to go to both Osaka and Tokyo, as said band, Electric Callboy,will be playing on both cities as well! So we will see if I can go to both!
But I need to focus on the upcoming trips at the moment!

Home and back!

Hello Everybody! I´m back in Eskilstuna, after a trip back home for my dads funeral!
I worked on Wednesday, and was allowed to leave work earlier, so I could manage to go to Arlanda Airport in time for my flight! Which was nice!
The flight went fine, and my little brother picked me up from the airport! Which was quite late!

The day after that, after a night of not good sleep, was my dads funeral! A lot of people showed up, friends of his, neighbors, and family from my moms side! It was a beautiful funeral, but also hard, since of course, it was my dad! We had a wake afterwards, and it was nice! Everyone paid their respects to my dad!

After the funeral, I didn't do much for the rest of that day! The weekend was decent though, as I walked around town for a bit, and spending time with my mom and family!
Then on Sunday, I went to the airport since I had an early flight, but just as we was on the runway, the plane got a mechanical error, and we had to get off the plane, and we had to wait a couple of hours for the plane to get fixed!

I was supposed to fly at 7.50am, but the flight lifted at 11am, so yeah, wasn't happy! I got my bag relatively quickly, but still had to wait a bit for the train to Eskilstuna, so I managed to get some food! The train went smooth, and I got back to the apartment, and then immediately went to the store, and bought some food, and then chilled for the rest of the night!
Tomorrow I will be getting back to work!

A rough couple of weeks!

Hello Everybody! It has been a rough couple of weeks!
A couple of weeks ago, my dad, my lovely father passed away, from a heart attack, after just under two months of cancer.
At the end of July he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and had just started treatment when his heart couldn't take it! It went very fast! from diagnosis to him passing away was less than 2 months!

As soon as I heard the news, I flew up straight away to see the family, trying to figure out what was going on, and support my family! I did see my dad the day after, which was surreal, and heartbreaking!
The sad part that gets me is that I called him a couple of days before, asking him if he wants me to come up and see him, and got the answer "If I want to!"........ and I didn't!

I did get back to Eskilstuna after a few days, and got back to work! The funeral for my dad is next week, which is going to be painful! I will be there for the weekend, and then needing to get back to work!
The funeral happens the same day as a concert I was supposed to go to, but the funeral is way more important than a concert!

I still have three other concerts in November to look forward to though! One in Stockholm and 2 in London!

I still miss my dad!

Hello Everybody! It has been two weeks since I came back from the trip! For some reason I want to head out and travel again! I have one trip to London in November to look forward to though!
I have an idea for that trip though! I have looked into seeing a football game during the weekend I´m there, and there are two games that are interesting, Arsenal vs Tottenham, and Fulham vs Sunderland.

Arsenal vs Tottenham cost a lot more than Fulham vs Sunderland! The thing is though. The game is on a Saturday, the same day as the Starsailor concert that I will be going to. Both games start at 15.00 though, so logistically I could one of them, and then head straight to the venue for the concert!, It can be rough though!

I will also be heading home again in October, after a trip to Stockholm and going to a concert with a friend of mine, as we will be seeing The Offspring! I want to see my family again, even though it was a couple fo weeks ago since I saw the the last time!
The flight home was a bit expensive, but I can afford it, and it will be worth it seeing my family again!

One week later!

Hello Everybody! It has been a week since I came back from my trip!
I have been working the whole week, getting back to reality! I did have a good time being abroad, even though I got sick after the Oasis concert! Having the cold did made me miss the Sinking castle, but it will still be there and I will probably manage to go there again someday!

I did manage to go to Portofino, Prachov rocks and Sedlec Ossuary, two that I haven't been to before, and one that I have been to before! So I was busy during the trip! I did also see family and friends again! Which was also amazing!

The thing is that after most of the trips I get back from, I want to head back out again! There's something being out in the world and see new countries (and of course places I have been to before, and seeing new things there!) and at the same coming home and see family and friends again!
But I do have two Stockholm trips, and a London trip coming up! I might do some day trips on other cities in the area!

I have a plan to go back home again, after the first Stockholm trip, to see my family again! It will just be a couple of days, as I´m free during that weekend!
I also have an idea that I might go for a football game on my trip to London! There are two games that interested me, Arsenal vs Tottenham and Fulham vs Sunderland!
The thing is that those games are on the same day as the second concert that I will be going to, and it might be very stressful to get to a game and the off to a concert almost immediately!

Then it's also the price of those games, the Arsenal game cost almost 400 euros, while the Fulham game cost 81 euros, so I need to take that into consideration! I will see what I will do!
Last time I went to a football game was back in 2016, when I saw Tottenham vs Man City! So it has been a while, and it makes me want to see one again!

Coming back to Eskilstuna and working a shift!

Hello Everybody! I have arrived back in Eskilstuna, and has already worked a shift! I was in a supporting role, so that was totally fine as a starting day after vacation!
My brother drove me to the airport yesterday, I checked in my bag and went through security, which went quick!

I chilled at the airport a bit, and then the flight got delayed, since it was late from Stockholm. Which stressed me out a little, since I needed to catch a train in Arlanda Airport. Which I sadly missed, so I had to wait almost two hours for the next train! I did meet a friend from uni at the airport though! He was seeing Ed Sheeran in Stockholm!

During my wait, I had some dinner and recharged my stuff. I then took the train back to Eskilstuna! When I arrived it was very late, around 10pm, and had a small walk to the apartment. I then dropped my stuff and then went to the store, and bought some breakfast for today. I then chilled for a bit, took a shower and then went to bed!

It's always a bit tough to come back to work after vacation! But I eventually get back to normal! I do have some trips to Stockholm and a trip to London to look forward to. Then I need to book a trip back home as well! I noticed that I got the free weekend in October, so I will wait a bit until I book that one!

Going back to Eskilstuna!

Hello Everybody! I´m at the airport now, going back to Eskilstuna! I have had a good time back home, seeing friends and family! It's always nice to be back home in my own home!

What have I done these couple of days?
I have spent time with my family, walking around in my hometown, which was quite empty sadly enough! Not much was happening! I even spent time with a friend, the same friend that I traveled to Gothenburg and London! Which was nice, since it was a couple of weeks ago since we saw each other!

Then I cleaned a little of the apartment, and bought some food, and then just resting, as the couple of weeks was quite high intensity, with exploring London, Genoa, and Prague, and have the time so see family and friends!

How was these weeks? These weeks has been amazing! Being in Gothenburg, and London and seeing two bands with huge amounts of people! Then going back to both Genoa and Prague, and knocking off two things on my bucket list, Portofino and Sedlec Ossuary, while going back to Prachov Rocks and seeing the emperors corridor again!

Then of course again, seeing family and friends again!
I plan to go back to Umeå in October, after being in Stockholm a couple of days, as I will go to another concert! The next upcoming concert will be The Offspring, which will be the fifth time I will see them, and second time in Stockholm! Said friend will also come with me this time!
I will see if I will be free during that weekend before I book anything!

Then I have another concert in November in Stockholm, and then two concerts in London a couple of weeks later! So it will be a good time! After that I might chill with the traveling, but at the same time, we will see what comes up!
